My wife is a full time mom and student which means the most optimal time to focus on her school work is at night. She complained of how cold her legs/feet would be by the end of every study session so I had to try out this portable heater. She hasn’t complained once ever since this was delivered! We both love how quiet it is (especially for baby) and how it can be tucked away during the day without it taking up too much space! Having the different temperature settings is such a plus and works sooooo well! The size is perfect as it fits right under the dining table. I wish I had known to purchase this earlier for her!The other portable heaters are either too noisy, too big to store away, or dries out her skin.Thank you Whisper Heat for creating this product that my wife can safely and easily use!

My desk is right next to the window, and it is uncomfortable to study in the winter because the heat does not come out well.Halogen Lamp Heater is uncomfortable for the eyes, and the heater that blows hot air makes it hard to concentrate on studying because of the noise.However, WhisperHeat does not light, does not make noise, and does not smell, so I can concentrate on studying.The heater itself is not hot, so it is safe to touch with my hand. It is safe even if children or puppy are nearby.Also no need to worry about the electricity bill.I like it

I gave this a try and was hoping it would be warm enough to at least take the chill out of my feet under my desk. It DOES NOT do that. the description claims that it goes to 130' F and there is no way that it does that. I can leave my hand on the heating and at 130" it would make me take my hand off. I was able to leave my hand there indefinitely. It really gets me mad when a product makes a claim and it doesnt even come close. In addition, the plug and wire is very very cheap. this would not work for long even if the claim was met. This device is junk and I do not suggest you get it. very disappointed

This thing is FANTASTIC! Turn it on and within minutes my feet and legs are warm and comfortable. Easy to unwrap and plug up. I am very pleased!

First off, read the label on it. It tells you to run for 2hrs before using to eliminate the smell. It's not a bad smell but some people may be sensitive to it.Pros- it does stay a nice consistent warm- it's silent- the timer is a nice featureCons- in a drafty and cold office, it doesn't quite get warm enough. My feet are still cold even with it running- it needs to be close to really feel the warmth. I have it touching my feet and slightly wrapped around my legs.- takes some time to warm up.While I think this would be great for someone who might get slightly cold, it just doesn't work for my needs. Again, where I work it's cold and drafty. I wanted this because a space heater was loud plus and I have to shut it off when I leave my desk. This one I don't have to worry about if it stays on, plus it had a timer.

Purchased to use at work and yes, I'm one of those that read ALL the reviews and while there were some that hated on the design it works as advertised and keeps the chill off my feet & lower legs.Pros:#1 It's quite! Like no sound whatsoever. I hate hearing my space heater run, so this was a bonus for me!#2 Fits nicely under the desk and quick to store. Me personally, I just leave it up under my desk.#3 Auto shutoff after 2 or 4 hours. I leave mine set on 4 hrs and use it 2x a day at work.#4 Consistent Heat! It's not a space heater, but it definitely heats up nicely under the desk.#5 Will not burn you if you accidently touch it or rub your leg around it. Kinda like a heating pad that gives off that extra heat. I sometimes rub my feet and legs against it.Cons:#1 Don't expect a space heater. While the consistent heat is there, it's not like a space heater, but again...I knew that when I bought it.#2 You need to be close to feel the heat. I sit up close to my desk (typing away with it on now) and I'm probably about 6-8 inches away from the panels, it's warm but not super hot.#3 Cost - It's a little pricey, but again it does the job I purchased it for.Overall I'd buy it again. It does what I wanted and I'm not having to listen to a space heater run and only heat the back of my legs and chair! I'm cold natured, and this works well enough that I'm not running my space heater multiple times a day either.

The heater part works well, keeps the feet warm but it is not stable at all. It doesn't stay up, collapses in on itself. I have tried to move the "feet" to get it stay up but it is still very flimsy and not very good at all. If you can figure out a way to get it stay up and sturdy, it does keep the feet warm.

This product is amazing. I have been warm and toasted since assembled. Easy to assemble, plug in, and feel the warmth. Stable, perfect size for standard desk height, no noise.
