My oldest has some neurotic tendencies, one of which is not drinking out of glasses or mugs in our house. He's been that way since he was a toddler...and several years later, it's still that way. That said, disposable cups are a must-have in our house, although really only used by him.Here you get a LOT of cups, which is great. The price-per-cup is plenty suitable (considering what we pay for lesser quantities), they're sturdy, and they're just the right size. It's hard to award a gold medal for a plastic cup, but this has everything that we'd want to see in one.I can't quite get a grasp of how accurate the claim that "PLA plastic is more environmentally friendly" is -- from my basic understanding & limited research of it, it does appear to perhaps be better than some alternatives, but not necessarily the miracle material that it's often made out to be. That said, if it's truly in any way better than other types of plastics that are often used, then it's a (perhaps only minor, I still can't tell with certainty) "bonus".
