ONBRILL 60" Kitchen Island with Trash Can Storage, Rolling Island Table

I can’t say anything bad about this product. No it’s not as sturdy as a manufactured kitchen island, but for an assemble yourself cabinet it’s very good quality. Make sure to sort your pieces and hardware. It makes assembly easier. I’m 75 and put it together all by myself. Top part is kind of heavy and lining up the pegs and holes was a bit challenging, that was the only difficulty I had, but I was able to get it done by myself. Lots of storage and love the hideaway trash bin. Nice addition to my kitchen.

Don't expect solid wood. Of course for this price the material is economized to the extreme, but it works fine and looks great. The value for the price is excellent. The instructions are very clear, but it's time consuming to assemble it. There is no other way: free shipping straight to your house from aboard at this price, the minimum you can do is take the time to assemble it. Otherwise you can order one already assembled from the local store for thousands of dollars. An advice: don't over tighten the screws, because the material is delicate. Use your hands and a screwdriver, don't use the electric drill. Soon as you feel the screws getting little bit hard to turn, just stop right there. Use common sense. One more advice: put all the screws in separate containers (like little cups) and label them. It will simplify and speed up the assembly process (see picture)

Wow, what a project to put together. It came in a box delivered to my door. All the pieces were there (except for 9 30mm screws) the instructions are straight forward, got lost twice. Island came out as the picture. I didn’t put the wheels on, as I elected to use a leveler to add an extra inch and not roll around. Overall I’m happy with it as we needed the storage.

We live in an apartment with a small kitchen. We purchased this island to provide more storage and counter space. My partner assembled it, as she is the Queen of Spatial Reasoning. She said it took her about three hours in all to put it together. There were some tricky spots however she didn't struggle too much. What we love: the trash drawer-it's what sold me on the island to begin with. Having the trash tucked away from eyesight makes me extremely happy. Also, it's so convenient to use when doing food prep. I love that there is a power strip-makes using small appliances on it easy. The storage is generous-fits all our dishes plus cutting boards and the attachments to my food processor. And there is still more room! What we love less: the drop leaf cannot handle a lot of weight. I use it for storing a couple small appliances and a plant. There is not a way to install a roll of paper towels without taking a section apart. We took the left side "paper towel holder" off and only use the right side attachements for knives and hand towels-decorative and functional. I also wish the top was butcher block but I knew that it wasn't going in so I won't ding the product for that. This was a great purchase! No regrets, not even one letter.

A forewarning - if you're not REALLY good at assembling flatpack, this will challenge you. I pride myself on being very good at flatpack and this took me over 3 hours and a host of tools. There are about 40 pieces and 20+ different types of screws and hardware. My advice - use a drill with adjustable torque and set it quite low so that you don't strip the screws, the material is definitely cheap particle board. Also, ditch the tiny included Phillips head for a wide flat screwdriver when it comes to the turn-and-lock fasteners. All of that said - this thing ROCKS! Very sturdy, looks GREAT, tons of storage. Drawers could be deeper. Soft-close cabinets feel great. The top is expansive, and the outlets are perfectly placed. More than stable enough to place our Kitchenaid on for pasta and breadmaking, rolling out doughs, etc. I probably wouldn't cut directly on it - the top isn't butcherblock, it's made like a door (hollow core). But it still feels plenty solid. I'm so impressed that this thing is only $250, I'd happily pay double. Many great meals will be made on ours. Highly, highly recommended!

It's not a simple "put together." However, after assembled the island is very sturdy and provides ample storage. This island is a quality product, but will take hours to complete.

Very Nice. Dont really use the garbage spit.for garbage. Instead we use it for storage. It helps to have an extra pair if hands to put it together. Not mandatory, just useful.

I got this as a temporary island for my kitchen during renovations, so I wasn't too concerned about quality or longevity. That's probably a good thing, because it's about the quality you'd expect for the price: Cheap. Don't plan on using the fold-out table portion for dining space. As soon as you set any weight on that portion, the entire cart topples over and goes shooting across the room. The instructions were fairly clear, what wasn't clear was the labeling and packaging of the hardware. Multiple types of fasteners were contained within the same bag, the actual quantities exceeded the quantities shown in the instructions so counting wasn't an option. Two of the screw types vary by only 0.5mm, which my failing eyes definitely can't tell, so I had to grab a set of vernier calipers from the garage to determine which screws were which. Several panels and other pieces of assorted hardware were not labeled. The actual assembly wasn't bad, just tedious and time consuming for someone with mobility issues and limited assembly space. I would STRONGLY advise sticking to hand tools on this one. After 20 years in automotive repair, a decade in woodworking, and a life of general tinkering, even with hand tools there is little to no indication of when to stop tightening some of the fasteners. Whatever this is made of has basically no structural mass, and screws will strip the holes like crazy. What really irks me though, is that when I buy a cart that says it's 60" long, I expect it to be 60" long, not 50" with a 10" spice tumor screwed to one side. I guess that's on me for not more closely scrutinizing the product images, but I mean come on, this is a 50" cart, stop deceiving people. Yes, it's 50", not 51.2" like it says in the product photos. I'd have bought something else if I had recognized that, but at this point, I can't be bothered to disassemble, repack, return, and order something else, I just need usable space in my half-demo'd kitchen. Gave it three stars because for the price, it's borderline acceptable, and it will serve its function as a temporary thing until I can settle on a permanent island design. If I actually cared about this thing's function long-term, it would be a one-star, and I'd have returned it with prejudice.

Good instructions. Some of the hardware could have been labelled better. It’s a pretty decent unit for the price. Cheap particle board but that’s expected at this price point. Works great in the RV. I’m an experienced carpenter and timed how long to build it from when I opened the box. I used my drill and was working at a pretty slow pace and it was 4 hours exactly from opening box to finished. If you were really rushing maybe could have been 3 hours. Anyone saying “1 hour” is either lying or not human.
