used before works well but you must treat regularly up to 7-8weeks and put plenty of air in with air stone and air pump continuously and take out charcoal filters while treating or it just filters it out and wasteing your time and money, good job

Great product easy to use time saving and very safe

Unfortunately in the tail end of last year and beginning of this year two of my six tanks were overtaken by BBA which is awful 😞. The stuff is very thick.. like human hair, and can't just be scrubbed off etc it destroys live plants and messes with your water parameters. So after trying quite a few different things I tried this stuff. Short story is that it works, but it works slowly and depends on how much bba you have. But after two days of treatment the algae is turning a deep purple/red colour "dying". It becomes flakey to the point it can be scrubbed off then removed by your filter or a Syphon. Before trying this I had been cutting the infected stems or leaves from plants and binning them.. the tank was bare. I have since found that if you have an infected plant, best thing to do is dilute some of this in a spray bottle, then spray directly onto the plant and let it soak in before putting the plants back into the tank.

Does the job that other more expensive brands don’t!

Our tropical tank was infested with algae and no matter how much clean up crew i added, no result. Months of trying did nothing. As a last resort i added this and it has decimated the algae within 4 weeks as they claim. I am left with alot of brown dead algae to clean up manually but still a result none the less. I also lost 2 ottos and 2 cherry shrimp through treatment but they were added within the past 3 months so not guaranteed related. As others have said be patient as you think its doing nothing and all of a sudden noticeable results occur.

I have tried several Algee killers over the years This worked to a certain extent, however it was not as good as some of the “liquid CO2” products I have used in the past however, I think this stuff is better for your fish Certainly get quite a bit for your money

I had green hair algae, black beard algae, and blanket weed algae and now the only hold out is a little bit of black beard that's still clinging on but is dying off. Very easy to use and didn't effect the fish health at all (I have a few sensitive shrimp and fish and they were completely fine) it briefly made the water cloudy but that cleared up fast. I'm on week 4 of treatment and the tank looks gorgeous. It doesn't clear up stuff stuck to the side of the tank but I have snails and scraping for that. 10/10 and the bottle will last for ages as it's such a small dose.
