OtterBox iPhone 16 Pro Defender Series Case - Foxberry Pink

Super sturdy and great color options. This is a case inside a case which protects against damage. I’ve dropped my phone several times with no issues. It is a little bulky but worth it for the protection of this expensive phone.

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone 16 Plus. My eight year-old iPhone 7 Plus is pristine because I have always kept it in an Otterbox Defender case; too bad Apple rendered it useless with software updates (but that's another story). Automatically bought this case for my new phone. It no longer comes with a holster, which I have always used, but they'll send you one for free if you request it on their web site. They needn't have bothered. As great as this case is (even though it no longer includes a screen protector), the holster is terrible. In all the years I carried the 7 Plus in its holster, I can't remember it ever popping out. This one does several times a day, and my phone falls to the ground. So far, no damage to the phone because the case itself is so good, but it's only a matter of time, especially considering how thin the bezel around the display is. I realize Otterbox has no control over Apple's goofy design decisions, like the way this phone is bristling with buttons they had to work around. But come on. Is this holster made by a completely different company? I'm disappointed to say the least, and I'm looking for an alternative. Interestingly enough, my iPhone 7 Plus Otterbox Defender holster seems to work better with this new phone than the one made for it. But if you don't use the holster, great case.

This phone case is durable. The value is great. I love a good hard shell phone case.The only thing I didn't like was I couldn't have my camera protective lens on. But, that's okay because the case is bulky enough and extends out just a little to be able to protect it as well.It looks nice and has good grip to it so it doesn't slide from your hands.Haven't tried the wireless charging just yet, but will venture into that later on.The case doesn't mess with the sound quality or the touch screen features at all.It was worth the 40 spent.

Been a while since I’ve bought OtterBox. After killing a screen on my 16 figured should get one. The case is not as bulky as I remember. 😞 At the top and bottom it has higher raised edges. The sides are much thinner. The plastic seems more durable than the cheaper ones I’ve been buying. The tap to wake doesn’t work once I install the case over my screen protector. Not sure why that is. Over all I’m happy, but time will tell. Hopefully I don’t have to find out again.Phone fell off trailer going 30. Pretty sure it got ran over. Cheap case and good screen protector kept the phone safe, for most part. Lost a couple pixels and cracked the screen. Had that happen with an otterbox on an older phone and didn’t touch my phone. This new design doesn’t seem as rugged, hoping don’t have to find out.

As a Dad of three college age kids , investing in $1,100 iPhone 16 Pros required finding a case that can take abuse. You won’t have to worry about your kids’ phones with the Otterbox Defender pro case. I like the two piece design- had plastic inner shell and durable out skin . The edges extend beyond the screen and camera hole to prevent any contact with surfaces . The bulked up corners act like pillows if dropped ( which my kids routinely did). I wish they had more color options. You need to purchase a screen protector , I’ve used several brands of ballistic glass (9H hardness ) for edge to edge screen protection annd none have interfered with fit of the case . Although pricey. I would definitely buy again. It’s better to buy a solid case than the extra insurance .
