This is a quality product and works exactly as advertised. It comes with plenty of fluid to do quite a few tests. I purchased it to troubleshoot a possible head gasket leak and it proved that I did not have one. This saved me a ton of work. I wish I had owned this decades ago. Super easy to use and a great value.

Nice carrying case Test fluid worked, though not very sensitive even when drawing in exhaust from the tailpipe, it took about a minute or more to change color, compared to Harbor Freight's "Block-Tester" fluid which changed color in mere seconds. Tester itself worked poorly in that it leaked test fluid heavily out the bottom orifice, as the one-way valve there wasn’t working or was poorly seated in its housing, as the top bulb was squeezed. The test fluid had a pretty steady drip with no pressure being applied to the bulb, (so I went to Harbor Freight and bought a "Maddox MD1-1 kit for about the same price, and it worked perfectly, no drip). Instruction sheet with the kit was minimally okay, but referenced www.goldlabeldetailing.com “for additional instructions and tips”, but the link didn’t work, the internet could find no such address. Go get a Harbor Freight "Maddox MD1-1 kit it worked well.

I tested this on a known head gasket leak on a 2004 ford 5.4. It did not show a change in color during testing. It is possible coolant is leaking in to cylinder and combustion gas not making it in to cooling system.

The instructions could be a little bit clearer. Such as if the water changes a different color than blue or yellow
