What a joy having a book to learn from for a level exams. Sure helps when there's 50 children to a teacher in Zimbabwe

It is as expected, no more, no less.The as version was very similar in layout but the content obviously, is very different.Also it has many mistakes inside so be careful what u read and be sure to analyse it if ure unsure.

Badly Written
Our school uses this textbook for teaching in class and I have found it to be a waste of money. The writing style is very long-winded with lots of irrelevant and confusing background information, and the book contains many typing errors. There are also quite a few facts wrong which can be very misleading, as if nobody even proof-read it before publishing. Save yourself some money and effort and buy a different textbook.

Not the easiest of textbooks for the student
As a private tutor I frequently teach the Edexcel exam board, and of all the boards, this is my least favourite text book. The information is sometimes not well laid out and could be more concise; in some topics there is insufficient depth while in others there is additional non-syllabus material (which while interesting is not made particularly clear to a student). And as another reviewer commented, there are quite a few typos in the first edition, although presumably these have been corrected in further editions. Let's hope there's an improvement when a new textbook is published for the linear A-level.
