I'm just a regular guy from New Jersey. I shopped around and purchased my AOFAR GX-2S W/Slope for golfing. I highly recommend this laser because it does everything as advertised and was very inexpensive compared to the well known, top end brands. There is nothing negative that I can say about this product. You can easily get a distance by directly shooting the flag or you can scan to get the yardage. I find that it is very easy to directly laser the flag even if the background is "noisy". Mine came with a nice carrying case that I just hook onto my push cart. It also eases my mind that it's waterproof for those days that it starts to rain out there. If this laser did not work as advertised, I would have definately sent it back and would obviously not be leaving this review. If you can get this laser for under $100, buy it and you won't regret it!

As a regular Joe who play golf only once per week, I was looking for a range finder that can help me to improve my game without breaking the bank. I found this one after some research. I ordered on Friday late night and saw it Monday after work. I tried it on the course today and this what I felt: PROS: 1. Beautiful design, the black/white color make it eye catching. Very light, easy to hold, the wrist strap makes you feel safe when hold it. The carrying pouch is very solid like a premium camera case. 2. Easy to use. Point it and press the power button and you get the distance in meter or yard. 3. Great lens. It is very clear. The 6x magnification makes it very easy even to find your lost ball (side benefits)! 4. The reading is very accurate. CONS: 1. It would be better if the plastic wrist strap cover can be removed and change the color to black. It would look and feel premium without the plastic cover. SUMMARY: I like it very much. I highly recommend this product.

Works fine for me, no complaints. Do need a steady grip when using, but this is fine for the price. I’ve used it for few rounds so far without any issues.

I own the AOFAR GX-2S for the past two seasons and have been pleased with its' features and performance with the exception that the GX-2S does not have a magnet. Well, I purchased the 6X-10W because it does have a magnet. Today, I had the opportunity to utilize both AOFAR rangefinders side by side. In my view, the GX-2S is easier to use, acquires the target faster, can toggle between yards and meters, and costs less...it just doesn't have a magnet. The GX-2S will remain in my golf bag and the 6X-10W will be regulated to the shelf and backup status. If you don't absolutely need a magnet, I recommend the AOFAR GX-2S.

In comparison to Bushnell, which all my buddies have, this is such a bargain and just as good. I'm not the best golfer, nor do I care to be really, but I like to have a lot of gadgets in case I ever decide to work hard at it. I also have the Sky Caddie LinxGT so I compared the yardage to the Aofar range finder as well as with my buddies using their more expensive version. Honestly, it comes up with nearly the same yardage as the Bushnell (sometimes a half yard different at most) and is always within the same range as my Sky Caddie (it measures to center of green). If you put a cover on it, no one will even know that it isn't a top brand version. I feel much more satisfied with this purchase than most of my friends since I didn't waste $300 on a range finder (heck, your phone will be doing it soon without GPS). I definitely recommend for any level of golfer. Of course, if you are so accurate that you can hit the ball to 157.2 yds as read by the GPS and complain it was off by a half yard, then maybe you should pass. All others who are slightly interested should give it a try. Fore!

This is my second AOFAR rangefinder. My daughter took over the first one so I upgraded to this one with the magnet. I could not be happier with this rangefinder. It does everything the expensive units do at a fraction of the price. My first one I've had over a year with zero issues.

Good range finder for the price. Does not lock easily and does not vibrate always. Trees and other obstructions interfere with getting accurate readings. Overall satisfied with it.

Does everything the most expensive range finders do and more , the ambient display is great , changes to red when in dark low light conditions and returns to black when brighter, very much recommend, great price and great product from aorfar

Very easy to use. It lets you know when you’re on target and the slope function is very much appreciated. Seems like it’s well made - time will tell. Great price, too!

Not as accurate as my Bushnell (+/- a couple yards) but it works and has all the features that my $600 one has. Plus, I won’t feel so crushed when I leave it on a golf cart at the end of round.
