Urban Sketchbook Hardcover – 30 Oct. 2014

Interesting book but it is obvious that it has been reedited from a bigger format. The drawings are very difficult to see. The publisher should warn about the reduced size. It makes the book useless. I learned my lesson: CHECK THE SIZE OF THE BOOK FIRST!!!!!

Toujours de très beaux livres avec une très belle qualité de papier. Nous attendons d'autres thèmes (paysages portraits etc) toujours avec ce système de carnet de griffonnages

When I first received this little book I was a bit disappointed by all the blank space. But then I realized all that space is intentional - the author encourages practicing often and leaves plenty of room in the book to do just that. I use it all the time with my travel watercolor set and the paper is ok. It's about the same size as a large Moleskine sketchbook. I love the examples and my sketching has improved since I started carrying it with me.

This is more a sketchbook than a book about sketching. Although there are some tips. A good book if you are starting out.

Fun. Inspiring. Great size for travel.
