Excellent Budget AIO With Great Performance
Iโve been really impressed with the ID-COOLING FX240 PRO so far. It keeps my CPU temperatures low even during gaming and heavier workloads, while still staying fairly quiet under normal use. The all-black minimalist design looks super clean inside the build and gives my setup a much more premium appearance without needing flashy RGB. Installation was straightforward, compatibility was great, and the included fans move a lot of air for a 240mm cooler. For the price, the cooling performance and overall quality honestly exceeded my expectations. Definitely a solid choice if you want reliable cooling and a clean-looking PC build

FX240 PRO โ Simple, Solid, Silent
I previously had an Arctic Freezer III in my build and when the pump failed, I decided it was a good opportunity to explore other options. I went with the FX240 PRO, having been impressed with ID-Cooling products in the past, and Iโm genuinely glad I did. **Look:** The cooler looks excellent in the case. Clean, understated, and premium without being over the top. The tubing and pump housing in particular give off a much higher-quality impression than the AIO it replaced. **Fit:** Installation was considerably easier than the Arctic Freezer III. Everything lined up perfectly, the mounting process was straightforward, and the daisy-chained fans made cable management far simpler than expected. **Functionality:** The daisy-chained fans are a great touch, making header connections quick and tidy. After around 30 minutes of runtime, itโs already noticeably quieter than my previous AIO while maintaining solid performance. **Size:** The 240mm form factor fits comfortably in the case with no clearance issues, and the tubing is flexible without feeling flimsy, which made positioning stress-free. Overall, Iโm really, really pleased with the purchase. It feels like a meaningful upgrade in build quality, ease of installation, and noise levels โ exactly what I was hoping for when switching AIOs.

highly compelling budget AIO
๐งฉ Overview & Key Specs 240 mm radiator, dimensions ~276 ร 120 ร 27 mm; rated for 300 W TDP. Pump speed โ 2,900 RPM, flow ~116 L/h with rated noise < 25 dBA. Includes Intel & AMD mounting brackets, preโinstalled fans with daisyโchain cables, and nonโRGB CDโpattern pump head. โ Cooling Performance & Temperature Control excellent temperature drops: idle ~40โ50 ยฐC and load midโ50s to lowโ60s on CPUs like Ryzen 7 and Core i9 stress tests keep temps below ~55 ยฐC, with massive reductions (~15 ยฐC vs air coolers) . Built-in pump and fans enable significant improvements even under 300 W workloads. ๐ Noise & Acoustics Pump noise can be audible at startup, often due to trapped air before settling down. Stock fans are decent, but louder at full RPMโmany opt for quieter thirdโparty fans (e.g., Arctic P12). ๐ Installation & Build Quality Straightforward setup with Asetek-compatible mounts, complete mounting hardware, and included thermal paste. Features smart cable managementโfan daisyโchain connectors reduce clutter . Overall, reviewers praise its sturdy build and minimalist style. ๐ธ Value & Drawbacks Pros: Outstanding value (~ยฃ50โยฃ65 / CAD $80) for high-end 240 mm AIO performance. Excellent temperature control with easy installation and minimal fuss. Subtle, sleek design (available in black or white) suits stealth builds. cons: Pump noise at startup may be bothersome until the cooler primes. Fan noise under full loadโsome users swap them for quieter ones. Radiator length requires a reasonably spacious case; small cases may have mounting limits. No RGB lightingโa positive for some minimalists, a negative for others. ๐ง Final Verdict The IDโCOOLING FX240 PRO is a highly compelling budget AIO, delivering: Excellent cooling efficiency for 300 W CPUs. Negligible bling, favoring sleek design. Easy install and tight cable management. Strong valueโcooling rivaling pricier models. โ ๏ธ Be aware of initial pump noise and moderately loud fans at peak RPM. If you're aiming for near-silent performance, consider swapping fans and optimizing pump/fan curves in BIOS. ๐ง Tips to Maximize It Run the system for 10โ15 minutes to settle air bubbles and reduce pump noise. Use BIOS or motherboard controls to lower pump/fan RPM if acoustics matter. Replace stock fans (e.g. Arctic Pโseries) for quieter operation without losing performance. Ensure your case supports a 276 mm radiator with clearance. โ Who Should Buy This? Gamers and power users needing serious cooling performance without RGB or price tag. Builders preferring a clean, minimalist aesthetic. Anyone upgrading from air coolers desiring silent efficiency with minor tweaks. ๐ Alternatives to Consider Seeking truly silent operation? A 240 mm AIO with quieter fans, or a high-end air cooler like Noctua NH-D15 may suit. Want RGB or 360 mm coverage? Consider IDโCOOLINGโs FX360 PRO or similar AIOs with larger radiators or lighting.

A good quality cooler for a low price.
This performs well for a non RGB cooler and looks good in a white case. Cooling on an intel ultra processor is perfectly acceptable. It is very quiet in operation.

Very impressed and highly recommend.
Did a bit of research and found this to be one of the best bang for the buck AIO's on the market and I've got to say it's exceeded my expectations. I didn't want RGB etc so this was ideal. Daisy chained fans so minimal wiring. Extremely easy to install. Slightly noisy on first use but this is very common with AIO's for the first while as the coolant settles and all the air bubbles work their way out. Much quieter than my old nzxt kraken. It has been flawless since. It's now cooling my 9800x3d and keeps it well below 70 degrees 99% of the time.

Catastrophic failure killed my motherboard
Worked great when it first arrived, used for a couple of weeks with noticable drops in temperatures. Then the fans just went super loud and it suddenly just stopped working. This caused several overheating issues which eventually caused my motherboard to fail. CPU header stopped being recognised and unable to read the hard drive. Looked great and worked great but ultimately ended in catastrophic failure and killed my motherboard

โPowerful cooling performance - unbeatable for the price!โ
This liquid CPU cooler is fantastic! The three fans do an excellent job of keeping my system cool, even during heavy gaming or demanding workloads. Itโs efficient and performs reliably, plus it looks great in my setup. It is just slightly noisier than some of the higher-end, more expensive models, but only by a small marginโnot enough to be a dealbreaker. For the price and performance, itโs an excellent choice that balances quality and affordability.

Great performance and nearly silent for the price
I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and ease of installation of this cooler. Iโm using it on an i5-10500, and even when stress-tested to 100% load using s-tui, it keeps temperatures in the mid-50sยฐC. โI configured the fan profile to stay at low speeds, and it remains practically silent under load. For the connections, the fans use a standard 4-pin plug for the fan header, and the pump connects to the motherboardโs AIO/Pump header via a 3-pin plug. For the price, itโs a perfect choice for a mid-range build.
