I don't often write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this fret kit. My wife recently gifted me a guitar with a couple of high frets, but I didn't think it was a big deal at the time. Then, I bought a used guitar online that had even more fret issues – four high frets and a couple that needed recrowning.Facing the prospect of paying a luthier or tackling the repairs myself, I decided to invest in this Music Nomad fret kit. The kit arrived beautifully packaged and organized, which I really appreciated. The tools themselves are fantastic. I'm just a guitar player, not a luthier, but this kit made it easy to diagnose and fix the problems.Using the tools and a brass mallet, I leveled the high frets, straightened others with the U-files, and even smoothed out some fret sprout. I also recrowned and polished the worn frets. I was so impressed with the results that I ended up using the S-file to crown and polish all the frets on the used guitar I bought. Now all my guitars have perfectly straight, mirror-like frets!Thanks, Music Nomad!

I wanted the lowest action I can get away with on my strat, so I made sure my frets were leveled, crowned, and polished. This fret maintenance kit has no equal. The price reflects the type of quality you'd expect from tool experts and the best materials.

This is very nice to have. I used it right away to spot level a couple frets and it got rid of the fret buzz and choking out and didn't take long at all. Very easy to use if you watch the demo videos and follow the process. Music Nomad makes great products.

Product looks promising. Unfortunately I gave this as a gift. Upon opening the Amazon box, the plastic was torn, items missing, product looks used but bought new.
