Worked perfectly! And looks great!!!!

I recently purchased an ethanol fireplace. The unit is great, but does not have glass windows in the front or sides. Turns out, the flames do not sputter or emit sparks...but to be on the safe side, and to provide ambiance, I bought this beautiful fireplace screen. It perfectly fits the front and sides of my stove and looks great too. And yes, if ever there were any sparks...this would handle it. I am all for safety, and this was a mandatory purchase, along with a CO2 battery-powered detector, as well as a fire extinguisher that is rated as adequate to deal with any potential fires. After buying the first stove and fireplace screen, I bought a backup set. Now, if and when the power goes down...like during a nor-eater and blizzard conditions, I do not have to worry about freezing. I'd simply shut off the water supply in the basement and keep warm in my two rooms that have these fireplaces...with their beautifully functional screens.

This design is beautiful, the front of screen does not block the view of the flames (have a gas fireplace). Got it because our cats like to get too close to the heat of the fire and with their curiosity, a potential calamity might have occurred. The screen is a bit lightweight, so I put andirons on each side and put a small wire connected to the screen to the fireplace brick to hold in place.

Got got my wood stove so that it kept my grandson safe! Well made but I was disappointed b cause I thought it had a painted flame on it but it didn’t! But didn’t effect the purpose!

Very pretty. We bought this to keep our dogs from getting the lava rocks out when our gas logs aren’t in use. Fit was perfect
