A Banger for the Money
Great unit for the money. Fairly straightforward to use and sounds great. It feels fairly well built but time will tell if it stands up to being gigged. I bought this specifically for triggering samples between songs for intros to some pieces with a metal band that I'm in. The only thing that I wish was easy to find was a good padded case for it that fits it pretty snug. Outta luck there so far. Will probably end up buying a hard case and cutting foam inserts for it. Glad I purchased this over a more expensive unit like the Alesis or Roland because of my use case.

Beware of purchase of this product
It showed up odd, it was packaged in a plastic bag no box with no Manuel or any protective packaging, and on the plastic bag said return item. It looked, felt used and not working properly.The volume goes in and out within 5 mins of playing, what a horrible experience got it as a bday present and the cost went up on it the time of purchase but my heart was set on getting it because of the details of the product, just to be scammed on a used product that doesn’t work as it should be. Never again or even recommend this product or service from this company. Stay away all it does it hurt your feeling along with your pocket and hard earned money. If I could I’ll give a zero star. Beware !!!

Headphone jack issues while playing.
The ONLY issue I have the unit that the headphones wobble out of the headphone jack (either one) while playing on the pads. Tried with different headphones and same experience.

Didn’t work out of the box.
Did not work right out of the box. It would not play through my amp at all and had to use headphones to hear anything. Then it just froze and stopped working. Sent it back.

It's ok
It's an inexpensive option for a sample pad. The fact that you can easily put your own sounds or accompaniment on it makes it worth while. The pads are not consistent t. The quality is ok. It's a fun toy and might work well for someone that's really good with this stuff.

Increíble respuesta del servicio post venta, tuve un par de problemas y la compañía AVATAR siempre estuvo en todo momento en comunicación. Me solucionaron un problema y el otro sin problema alguno, hicieron la devolución. El PAD 708 es una chulada y muy buenos sonidos. Sólo por su atención y calidad, seguiré comprando productos de esta marca !!! Lo recomiendo ampliamente
