Superb instant insight to scales on the guitar, Good!
When I got this small book I had only heard of scales, I have played chords only in a very 'sing-along' 'kareoke' -way before. With this book I instantly got into the basics of major scales on the guitar, and I haven't reached far in the book but can allready say that it is golden - filled with useful info and suggests a good technique for going about...¨Extremely useful to anybody who wants to learn about scales!

Maybe it's me
Maybe it's me? I freely admit that I'm not the brightest kid in the class, but I found this to be the most needlessly complicated, poorly explained, utterly indescipherable book that I have ever tried to read.In fact there where times when I was unsure whether the book was written in English. I don't doubt that the two authors understand what they are talking about, but I don't have a clue.As I said at the beginning, the fault probably lies with me being too stupid to understand what is written and I don't doubt that other people will give this book excellent reviews and say that it is the finest textbook of it's kind ever written. If that is the case then so be it.The best thing that I can say about this book is that it is cheap, so at least I haven't wasted too much money.
