Quality was lower than I expected. The phillips wood screw heads were stripped and the screws themselves are not the correct size for the wood product. Also the stainless steel grater was positioned crooked on the bare wood handle. But for the price, it was not worth returning. I elected to "improve" the product myself by replacing the existing screws with non-rusting copper wood screws of the proper size, sanding and shellacking the wood handle to help seal the wood from stains and bacteria, and re-drilling new holes to properly align the grater. I also drilled a chamfered 1/4 inch center hole at the far end of the wood handle so that I can attach a leather lace for hanging on a kitchen rack.

the wood part is too short, we expected that this would be long enough to sit on, obviously on a chair, as in scrapping the coconut one needs to be able to use pressure from both hands to turning the coconut while shredding ... table top is not practical ...

I was tempted to buy expensive grater but because I didn't see any review for it, so I didn't wanna waste money for something that I wasn't sure if it's going to work. Manual grater has been around for many years so I know it will work and it does work very well.My only complaint is they should make the wood part longer.I recommend this product to people who want to save money.

This is the same coconut grinder we used in Phillipines but the only difference is the wood is so small and it is not comfortable to sit on it would be nice if it is bigger and wider for that reason I just give 2 star

Works just like the one we have in the Philippines.

We like it very much . Handy and practical. We recomend this to those who love to have fresh coconut in their native menu.

This item is not what I have expected and returned it.
