Ich habe einen Jack Russell- Kokoni- Mix, 10 kg und Größe 5 passt perfekt. Da der Hund draußen ein Saugroboter ist, alles frisst, vor 2 Monaten dadurch eine ganz schlimme Darmerkrankung hatte und ich ihm nicht den Freilauf nehmen möchte, habe ich mich für einen Anti-Fress- Maulkorb entschieden. Das Training habe ich über mehrere Wochen aufgebaut und dieser Maulkorb lässt sich gut befestigen und auch in einer Bauchtasche mitnehmen. Natürlich ist der Hund nicht begeistert, das er ihn im Freilauf tragen muss, aber er versucht nicht, ihn abzustreifen und kleine Leckerlis zur Belohnung oder die Leberwurstpaste kann man über die Seite verabreichen. Er kann damit hecheln und auch schnüffeln, aber eben nicht mehr fressen. Auch optisch sieht der Maulkorb nicht so krass aus wie die handelsüblichen schwarzen oder dunkelbraunen. Daher für mich eine absolute Kaufempfehlung. Ich empfehle natürlich, das Training langsam und geduldig aufzubauen, da es sonst für den Hund noch unangenehmer ist und bei Hundebegegnungen nehme ich ihn ab, damit er die gleichen Bedingungen hat. Über dumme Kommentare von anderen Hundebesitzern muss man drüberstehen, wie so oft im Leben...

Baskerville muzzels were brilliant for my previous dog who was reactive to other dogs so are my go to for my cocker spaniel.I wanted one as it is useful to have for certain situation's. The measuring chart was no help and I ordered a 3 and a 5 both of which were too small, so just waiting for the 6 to arrive.

Get the size up for your dogs they can be adjusted it's worth it for your dogs happiness , they fit great and my dogs can't get them off like every other one I've tried, they actually didn't really try to begin with as they fit very comfortably in the perfect position to keep them safe and breathing normally . The insert makes some extra breathing room and allows access for water drinking , I pulled the mask down to make sure it didn't go past their noses if they pulled it down with their paws, you don't need to tighten the mask up past that point as there is no way for them to get it off if they can't pull their nose out through the top as it secures behind the ears from undernearth. Does the perfect job of keeping them safe on walks or in the garden since they don't notice it's on until they try to eat something they shouldn't . Very happy I bought one to test then got another , only muzzle that didn't stress the dogs and me out . Soft and versatile material .
