Melinda's Mango Habanero Hot Sauce - Sweet & Mild Hot Sauce, 5oz 1pk

This was my first time trying this particular hot sauce. TASTE: the flavor was very rich and delightful. I was quite surprised and satisfied with its unique and bold sweetness. Definitely a good experience. It tastes so good I can sip it from the bottle and actually enjoy the taste. HEAT: on a hotness scale of 1-10 I would place this as a 1. The sweetness of the sauce mask the heat of the habanero and as a result you get a very sweet sauce with a small bite of heat. TEXTURE: it is not purely a thin liquid. It has some body to it like a watered down sauce. This actually makes for a good dip or spread. USES: I found it to be very delightful on turkey sandwiches, on roast beef sandwiches, a delicious add to burgers and great on chicken. I ran out before I could try it on breakfast but I feel certain it would go good with breakfast burritos. RECOMMENDATION: yes I absolutely recommend this sauce. I think it was a great sauce. The bottle size was good for the meal table and I could easily travel with it to work or on camping trips. It doesn’t cost much. The only problem I had was that I ran out of it really fast. I think you should try this product and be ready to order more.

I keep saying reviews where people say it's expired and then point at the MANUFACTURING date 🤦🏼‍♀️ also seeing a lot of reviews that don't seem to realize that it says 🔥/🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on the front meaning it's mild. the spiciness of this mild hot sauce is absolutely perfect! when I was a teenager I loved habanero hot sauce and that sweet fruity flavor from habanero's but I can't take the heat with an everyday lunch anymore. this is amazing it's got that fruity habanero flavor without destroying your mouth. with just enough sweetness from mango. the ingredients list looks pretty clean. it's a reasonably thick hot sauce, I definitely had to take the little restrainer cap off of the bottle because this isn't the kind of hot sauce that needs to be dribbled out in tiny drops the consistency is reasonably thick

I'm a fan of all Melinda sauses. It's not Hot. good flavor and spice

Mango habanero is one of my favorites, but do yourself a favor and refrigerate after opening. It states it is shelf stable, but the first bottle I opened started tasting kind of moldy after about a month. That is why I took off a star. Great on just about everything’

Very nice flavor with some great kick to it

Horrible Flavor! All I taste is spicy vinegar. Disgusting! I wanted to like this so much.. Buffalo wild wings mango habanero is made with high fructose corn syrup and the other brand I found was zero sugar so you could taste the stevia. This one goes straight in the garbage

The sauce is decent but it's not like the one I tried at a local fried chicken wings store. It has limited mango flavor. I mainly taste the lime and vinegar, and it's more runny than I'd like. It has a spicy, sour tang that makes (particularly greasy foods) more appetizing and it has some heat (like a 2 or 3 out of 10). It dissipates pretty quickly so your mouth doesn't feel uncomfortable. I would have liked it to be sweeter with more mango flavor, and more sticky to actually stick to the food. The sauce I used to eat at the local shop had strong mango flavor, which this needs (but it was painfully spicy yet addictive - perhaps it was artificial). I will definitely finish the bottle, but I'm not sure I'd buy it again.

I love Melinda's hot sauces, both for the complexity of flavours they build into their different sauces and the all natural ingredients they go with. This mango hot sauce is perfect when you need that juicy sweetness to compliment a dish that only mango can bring, like on top of some spicy Jamaican jerk chicken. It is rated as a one on their heat scale. That should tell you everything, and if you're expecting something really hot, that's your own fault. If you are very sensitive to spices, this will probably be just perfect for you. If you're a heat freak, you'll be able to drink this out of the bottle and think you had mango puree. If you have an average sensitivity to heat, then you won't really feel much except for an ever so slight heat passing on the lips after you've finished eating it.

Borderline not spicy at all. More tangy than anything. but great flavor. Works beautifully on hot wings.

I dont know about the other sauce but the mango sauce is not spicy at all its just sweet maybe my tastebud has been destroyed by other hot sauce but this sauce was really not spicy even my sister didnt taste the capsine. Even though the heat wasnt present i can say that the sauce was good but if its for some heat that you are after dont take the mango one
