Best Broad Head amazing results.
Hi.I never write reviews but after my experience yesterday evening on my deer hunt with these broad heads. I had to write the review.I had a 4 to 4.5 year old buck walk in that I needed to cull out of my deer herd. He field dressed 169lbs however he only had 4 points on his right side and a spike on his left. Have several out on my property with this blood line needing to go. Had a 3 year old twelfth and and a 4 to 4.5 year typica 8 pointer walk in with the cull buck yesterday evening. Their lucky day he was there with them. I was using my bowtech insanity with black out arrows from bass pro. Equipped on the arrows was these rage extreme 125 grain broad heads. The buck was at 28 yards slight quartering towards me. I have confidence in my bow to make that shot all day long. Now to try these broad heads. I released the arrow striking the buck in the shoulder exited out his far side rib cage. He lighted knock was amazing as well saw the red light as it disappeared into the buck then buried in the ground after the buck jumped kicked his back legs up (heart shot) and ran off.I watched him run off into the thick thick woods and listened for him in the leaves and brush. Alshortly after not seeing him any more I heard a crash and then what sounded like him kicking in the leaves. I got down went to the truck about two hundred yards from my stand site and away from the direction the buck ran. I have him 30 mins then went back in with light and went to spot I stuck him to look for blood. OMG the blood!!! Amazing blood trail that I only had to follow for maybe thirty yards where my buck was laying dead. The entry and exit holes where unreal. Extremely huge busted through his shoulder then busted to rib bones on off side as it exited. Broad head still useable only need new blades and retainer collar. Amazing broad head that I will only use for now on. If any has any doubts or questions I have pics to prove the hole made and the end results was a buck field dressed 169 lbs that only ran thirty yards and expired. Thanks rage for a awesome piece of equipment to use on my hunts.

Well made.
This was an older set that I recived had no practice point but seller made amends for that was great to work with but did have problems with them not wanting to open in my recurve cross bow with crossbow collars. standard where to weak, for my bow, cross bow collars to stiff. Not the manufactures fault, just did not work with my rig. Will use with my compound.

I'm a Rage fan (and not a pro-staffer)
I shoot a muscle bow and was concerned about my mechanical broad heads prematurely deploying as a result. After contacting Rage they recommended the Rage Extreme 2-Blade broad head since it's designed for draw weights heavier than 60#. I used them on a hunt in January and Rage was right. They flew true with devastating results. The pic is the Black Hawaiian Ram I took using the Rage Extreme.I've been using Rage mechanical broad heads for 3 seasons and have had hunting buddies convert when they've seen the results, after which they had a great experience.

No practice head with this item. Only the 100 grain has it.
I haven't used these yet but I all the reviews sound good. My 3 star rating is for the inaccurate discription that a practice head was included. I was looking forward to seeing how the performed out of my bow. I'm a stickler for being accurate on the description. I may have bought the 100 grain ones just to get the practice head. Disappointed. Not sure I want to try practicing with a real one.

It is also nice that they sell the replacement blades now
The size of the hole these things make in a white tail is impressive. The first doe I shot left such an extensive blood trail, that I literally had my four year old follow it and she found the deer without my help. It is also nice that they sell the replacement blades now, so you can basically rebuild your entire set of broadheads for roughly half the price. Still not sold on using these on tougher animals like large hogs, but for deer, antelope, elk and the like they are awesome.

Rage Extreme mechanical broadheads.
It was exactly what I was trying to get. I got it in a timely manner. I've used Amazon several times and each time it has been a great experience. I've always got my stuff in a reasonable time and what I purchased. These are great broadheads. I haven't had a chance to use these yet. A buddy of mine uses them and swears by them. They make a bigger cut through the deer to make them bleed out better so they will die quicker and less painful.

Bad edges not sharp
Not a fan. Cut on contact blades have a horrible edge. Not razor sharp. Will stick with fixed blades that are easily sharpened and have no moving parts

I was hoping they would include a practice head like they do with the 100 grain heads
I was hoping they would include a practice head like they do with the 100 grain heads. Can't argue with their performance though

They came as dull as anything I've ever seen
They came as dull as anything I've ever seen. You couldn't cut yourself on them if you tried! Very annoyed.
