Does the highlighter bleed through to the other side of copy paper?

On 20&24-lb computer paper the answer is yes; it does bleed through.

I have macular degeneration and cannot see the yellow very well. What color would be best for me?

Any color besides yellow. All are bright and useful for highlighting in textbook (old school), lists, paper calendars and notes.

None of the colors have ever bled through typical copy or printer papers. I've also used them in a study bible whose pages are pretty thin. So far, no problems.
