SD CF Card Adapter Wireless WiFi SD Card to Type I Card Adapter for SLR Camera

My first delivery of this product was an open, unsealed, empty envelope. I contacted the seller and waited a day and a half for a response. Finally my response came which was to contact Amazon. I did as suggested and the Amazon Customer service representative was extremely helpful and a new card was sent to me. It arrived in the same large envelope but in this case it was sealed and the product was in the package. This card should be packaged, protected, and delivered in a small box.This adapter works very well. It has to be inserted into the slot correctly. If you unsure, remember that the pin sides go into the card bay of your device and the card was two plastic slots running along each of its sides. One slot is fatter than the other to correspond with the bay. Do not force it in and make sure that you have your card aligned correctly. I experienced no issues using my camera and the card runs quickly.This card does what it claims. It is just an SD card adapter. Its speed is affected by the speed of your SD card and it will not increase or decrease the megabytes that your device will read. It will read a micro SD card in an SD card adapter. I would buy this card again.

I wanted this to work and be reliable so I could use SD cards rather than having to track down larger capacity CF cards. When it works it is great, but it is extremely unreliable. Sometimes it gives me a CF error, sometimes it just completely shorts out the camera and the camera won't even turn on. Then there are those magical moments when it works and it is wonderful. Unfortunately it is so unreliable that on a recent trip to Moab I had to make sure I carried my smaller capacity CF card around with me and make sure to pull all of the pictures off of it whenever I returned back to the laptop.

CF cards were getting hard to find so I gave this thing a try and so far it has worked perfectly. Continuous shots seem a little faster than they did with the old CF that I had. It's also great to be able to put in big SD cards that would have cost more in CF form IF I was able to find them easily. The unit fits kind of tightly in the slot, but I have NO plans to remove it until the SD possibly fails one day. ZERO problems with the camera seeing it. You cant go wrong :)

First one worked then didn’t then worked then didn’t Every time I wanted to use my camera I had to take the adapter out them memory card out then put everything back in and sometimes it worked until I had to shut the camera off then back to square one. The second card I got shorted out the camera until I removed it By a CF memory card instead and save the hassle

I misunderstood the description and thought this had WiFi built in, which is hard to imagine at the cheap price, but now I realize you can put in an EyeFi SD card to add wireless to a CF camera. It may work that way, but I would think between the case and the camera body the signal would be weak.It started out great, adding a cheap 64GB Micro-SD card to the CF adapter rather than paying big bucks for a 64GB CF card. However in the first few uses, and taking less than 100 pictures, I have had it tell me the card needs to be reformatted two times. The first time I re-inserted the SD and it worked OK, the 2nd time I could not get the CF to recognize it, though fortunately it still worked in my computer without the CF adapter. I was going to use it to shoot a wedding, but fell back to my 16GB CF cards to make sure I didn't have a disaster with unreadable cards at the end of the wedding. I'll use this for unimportant shoots where I'll be shooting a lot of pictures.

Place an sd card in this device, then place this device in a camera and you may not be able to write dependably to the the sd card. It didn't work for me in a Nikon D800. A similar sized CF card works fine.

Bought this for an older camera that took compact Flash. Works perfectly to use SD cards in older cameras.

this product cant be read by the camera - canon 7d - like it says it should - poor quality - i an unable to return it because i waited too long to does not work
