It's very good product

Bags keep tearing below the zip lock making them useless. The seal/joint between the two layers is very weak and bad quality. The price is cheap so it shouldn't matter but these are plastic bags and harmful for the environment as well. Other than that these are very useful and keep fruits and vegetables fresh for days. If they fix the tearing issue I'll change review to 5-stars

Good grip and very sturdy and strong zip. The quality is good and it certainly a very convenient and easential kitchen piece.

I am one who goes for easy clean up and storage after meals and use a lot of plastic bags to accommodate that preference. I get a great deal on these gallon bags with my Subscribe and Save orders. This is a great size to put up meats, casseroles and larger left overs. I also use these to put over meals I have plated for warm up later. They can easily be stacked in the frig for a quick warm up meal. These bags are made to stand up while filling so they are particularly useful for sauces, pasta or soups. I do suggest you put the bag in the sink to fill up as some ingredients will topple over while you pour. The slider zip lock makes it easy to seal up and pack away. I also use these for meats/steaks when I separate a family pack. Putting steaks into single bags then inserting into a gallon bag helps protect the meat from freezer burn and allows me to take out individual steaks as desired. Good product, good value.

I used to only get Zip lock brand bags due to off brands being lower quality or thinner material that would rip or leak. I discovered these a couple years ago and have reordered 3x. Such a good deal for the number of bags, and haven't had a single issue with leaks. I have used them for marinating overnight, freezing meat/vegetables, and meal prep instead of bulky containers. My only complaint is minimal - every once in a while the plastic where you open it starts tearing or stretches out too thin, when trying to open the seal. However, that has only happened with meal prep foods, where I am reopening the same bag several times a week. I just had to move a little further down the bag to open, and it worked fine. I can't complain though because that means the seal is working well, and that's why it doesn't leak!

I just had to take some pictures with my name-brand freezer bag to show you! My freezer bag is used, but you can still see how they compare! Besides being so thick, they have a TIGHT seal! It's a double zipper. I was squeezing the bag hard when I took the picture of how tight the seal is! I was expecting these bags to be kind of like the store brand I sometimes get.
