The 2.5 year old is now doing independent play with this and knows how to switch up pieces and knows what type of machine he wants to build.Only downside their could be more wheels or more variety of pieces in case you want to build 2 machines at once, but there isnt enough pieces, and I'm not sure if you can make separate add on pieces.But on the whole encourage imagination play, to think about what you want to build and where pieces fit, pieces are the right size for toddlers, even though there are a few pieces the toddler needed assistance with. After a few initial plays at the start, the toddler is now fully confident to build and play on his own and plus these can be taken in the bath if he wants to make a aircraft boat thing.I think boys and girls will enjoy.Thanks.

The actual box was slightly crushed which made in look second hand. As i needed it for a birthday present i decided not to return it

The quality and idea of the toy are brilliant!However I bought it for a 2.5 year old and she can’t do any of the pieces yet other than the wheels/eyes. She can’t even pull it apart without help currently. She loves the robot though and loves playing with him whilst he is built. But she can’t rebuild it without 90% help at the moment.I am very excited for her to be able to do it further down the line though as it is a great toy!

I bought this for my son's 3rd birthday and he's played with it every day in the month since! He absolutely loves that he can build all manner of robots totally independently. We have another 123 set and the pieces from both are totally compatible - and I've bought another set for Christmas!

Bought on a whim for my 3yr old daughter robot fan. She loves building different robots and 'aliens'.There is an instruction sheet of different ones to build but she makes what she wants.Strong plastic pieces that click together well and don't fall to bits as soon as you move them.

Great idea and lovely to build with my little one. He can’t build it alone at the moment, feels a bit hard to push everything together

My nephew absolutely loved this. It is sturdy, excellent quality and great value for money. He never stops playing with it. Would highly recommend for any child who likes to build etc.

My grand son of 1 enjoyed pushing the wheels on and off but the larger pieces were too strong even for a 3year old to do themselves. The item you make must be pulled apart to make the next one too. It becomes a little expensive to buy a few sets. There is some play value with this toy and they did enjoy it but I was a bit disappointed with it if I'm absolutely honest. Just hope over time the pieces become easier to join!

My kiddo gets to build the robot in many different ways. She loves it.

My 4 year old granddaughter and I had a great time building robots for HOURS today. I’ve never seen her stick with one activity for so long. It’s easy to use, very durable and comes with numerous color photos of ideas for different robots.

My grandchild enjoys this toy. It's easy enough to assemble alone after first instructions with Grandad. Great project to do together in the beginning. Pieces are just right for 2 year old hands.

All the pieces are very smooth, my toddler loves to put it together different ways as well ad taking it apart, this set pieces are compatible to the other sets from the same brand. Excellent quality
