Schaum's Outline of Statistics and Econometrics, Second Edition

The Schaum's Outlines have saved me multiple times, especially as one who is not very mathematically inclined but in a math-intensive grad program (econ Phd). This book is no different. Clear, concise explanations of statistical and econometric materials, formulas, terms, and uses. This cannot be used in lieu of an econometrics course, but it's a great companion guide. And for the price, you get a lot.

Helped me get an A in a class where I was very confused for a few weeks. Econometrics is still mystifying to me, but this did help me grasp enough to pass my exams and do my homework.

The item is ok but delivery service is unhelpful. They left my package at my apartment office and never left a note .. so i have been running around for a week and a half trying to figure out where my order that i needed for my exams was dumped! The online tracking service gave a name that i was not familiar with until i finally went around asking to my annoyance( i shouldn't have to do that i pay you to deliver). learn something from Fedex and UPS. Leave a note on the door so i know where you left my package.

All good. Some minor probs because of differences in nomenclature with my university lectures but not insurmountable. Format including solved probs superb.

Perfect to remember content or study with the help of teacher. It does not work to start alone to learn because the content is just a brief. So perfect for stufied and need remember or usecin class.

I have a copy of this book because i needed to practice my mathematical statistics and econometrics skills as i progress through my study. I think and this is a general criticism of Stats book is that Notation are different and this can make it really frustrating if you professor uses Notations that are quite different to this book. IF YOU CAN overcome notations issue which is easy by the way, you'll find the it a really good exercises and full of good practice questions. i have another 3 books for my statistics course and i tend to use them simultaneously. over all its good book and complementary to my other statistics books. I like it.
