) We liked the vintage look and feel of this watch
I bought it as an engagement gift to my fiance who still loves wearing it - even after 6 months :) We liked the vintage look and feel of this watch. It's fairly comfortable to wear. The movement detail is displayed on the backside has one gear that is the same blue as the watch hand. This small detail really adds to its unique look! Even though in photos, the hands look very blue, it really depends on the lighting. Upon winding it once, it lasts ~40 hours. One thing to note is that even though the watch is water-proof, the band itself is not. The initial shipment was missing the manual, but upon notification, our seller was quick to send it to us.

The watch seems to be very good and as advertised
The watch seems to be very good and as advertised, so far. However, the strap appears to be artificial alligator leather (what does "upside alligator" leather mean? The qualifier suggests phony) This would seem unworthy of a quality product such as Longines. On the other hand, I kind of hope it is artifical, as I own a Breguet that had two authentic alligator straps that rotted with about 3 or 4 years each, before I replaced them with calfskin.

Longines Customer Service is Beyond Sub-Par
I did not purchase this watch, but have had to deal with Longines customer service in Switzerland regarding a watch that belonged to my grandfather. The experience has convinced me that unless you have quite a bit of money and don't mind bad customer service, don't consider a Longines. A certified watchmaker I trust locally sent the watch in to get the crystal replaced (it had cracked). The service center in Switzerland insisted that they needed to do a $2000 basic maintenance because "little bits of crystal may have gotten into the watch." They refused to only replace the crystal, even though the watchmaker communicated that I would in no way hold them liable for anything (and he had just done cleaning/maintenance for $300). The cost of Longines replacing the crystal, by the way, would have been less than $150. Absolute swindle. So I've payed $100 in shipping and insurance, for nothing. From this experience, my opinion is that Longines customer service is ridiculously bad.

Great looking watch
Great looking watch for a person with a smaller wrist. Only complaint would be if you don't wear it for a few days you have to reset the date and time.
