Cool Californian Drill/Driver
Ok so I haven't gotten to use this CACOOP Cordless Brushless Variable speed driver/drill too much as of now.I can say the price was real nice and the name is quite weird and I still don't know how to pronounce it (is it KA-KO-OP?as in California Co-Op?is it just KAK-Oop(s)?ππ,is it supposed to be shouted out like a Karate Kiyaaay(!!!)?) Anyway I did get to use it for driving and it seems like it does the job.Used it at low torque so far and it is solid, feels good in the hand, not too heavy but heavy enough to give a good ,confident screw driving experience, the driving sound is nice and not too loud, sounds like drill is happy to do the job,the grip and feel of the material is A-Ok . Liked the packaging and variety of extra stuff you guys at CACOOP put in with the bag and all,and for the price it's fun to get all that.Battery life seems great as it's still in the 3-Greens after some use, and it seems like the charging is pretty quick. My beefs so far are more in the aesthetic area:The material seems a bit cheaply made as some little plasticy/rubbery tidbits were left sticking out on some areas of the drill/grip/battery insert/drill base(I grinded em off to a semi smooth finish with my Dremel Micro 8050-N/18πππ ).The logo sticker was coming off at the edges on both sides of the drill, and the thing that stood out the most when I just got it and had my first look ,was the battery life/LED light zone on the base of the drill:That I think needs some redesigning cause you can see all the wiring underneath ,it's hard to see the battery condition from any angle(you kinda have to look at it directly from the top at no angle to clearly see how much battery life is left)and it gives a cheap feel to an otherwise very nice and almost-high-end look of the drill. The battery charger itself also seems pretty cheap tho it IS very light, but I guess I shouldn't be too nit-picky about thatππππ.All in all the drill does look not bad at all tho, design wise.So yeah I think if you don't have the extra cash to fork out for a high end brand name twice as much costing 20V+ driver/drill and even if you DO ,this seems like a very super fine choice from the good folks @ CACOOP (just maybe get the pronunciation of the name out somehow so it's easier to say it rightππππππππππππ)Thank you!

Funny name but this drill is the real thing
How to read "CACOOP?" Some say it is California Co - Op. Anyway, ordered two in case one is DOA. This drill is simply amazing. The finish, power and battery worth three times the price I paid. Both units work perfect. I am keeping both. Perhaps one of the best purchase I have made. I own three cordless drills and two AC drills. I will be using CACOOP drill only. First day of my use, I was attaching garage door wire and drop the drill from a six foot ladder - All my fault. To my very surprise - nothing broke. I wish the owners of the drills keep it at a low profile so the price won't go up. Brushless drill is an amazing advancement of cordless drill. It converts DC to a three phase AC to run a small induction motor, which is most reliable continuous service motor.

The quality is worth the price
Works good, however it's very loud. If your sensitive to loud noises, this is not the product for you. I don't care about noise but it is something I noticed. It is a little heavy, under 5lbs

Great!
I've only used it twice but it is a perfect little driver. Powerful, but not heavy. Attractive color, useful case, some extras (drills and bits). Extra battery is another bonus. The drill came with a charge and I haven't had to recharge yet. Great price.

Great Drill
Perfect drill for the homeowner or light contractor. Built a green treated deck. Over 300 2-1/2" screws in 2x6 and battery was still strong. Light weight so easy to hold. Also well balanced. Case holds what you need and is sturdy. Drill is well worth the cost. 5 stars. Good investment.

One of the batteries never would charge
The second battery that came with it never would charge. Iβm wishing now I had done something about it when it was new. I sure didnβt realize how expensive batteries are!!

Chuck slippage
Very nice looking drill but the drill bit slips in the chuck that is not acceptable. this happened 3 times in one day and after the first time I took special care to insure that the chuck was tighten properly. Cacoop I would like to hear your comment on this.RespectfullyDenis Newberry

Third one of these
I bought this kit cuz I burnt out my last one of this brand. But I'm not complaining cuz I was driving the motor too much. The plastic carrying case with the bits was a nice bonus. The big selling point for me is TWO batteries. I bought two drills last year to get two batteries, this time one drill came with two batteries. Oh, these batteries last forever. And charging is quick too. A long lunch break and its charged up ready to go.

Better than I expected.
Needed a small drill for around the house (have another for heavy work). This is a really good unit and has worked perfectly so far. Includes some very nice drill bits as well. Easy to use charger. Used it for all sorts of jobs around the place drilling thin steel, aluminium and timber. This is an excellent product for light work around the house. I've owned a lot of drills over the years including Bosch, Ryobi, B&D and this one is just as good as long as you use for what it is designed for.

You get what you paid for.
The first two times I used it it was smoking. On the plus side it has a long battery life.
