Comfy Dutch Clog Slippers in Blue

I have purchased a few of this brand of slippers, same design for approx 6 years, with each pair lasting about 2 years. They have now changed this clog design and also the sizing. I am a size 6 and the size 6 used to fit lovely. It would be snug, to begin with, but as the inside wore a little, over time it became looser but not so that it would fall off. The design was always comfortable to wear and the colours always as pictured - I have had both the claret and the blue.This new design has however a joint sizing so I purchased the 5/6. The new sizing isn't as snug as previously but as before has worn a little and become looser. However, they now do not fit very well and slip on and off when I walk. As I said, I am a size 6 so if you were a 5 and ordered these they would be like boats on your feet. Because they slip on and off they do not grip the heel as well as the previous design and so as a result the back has become flattened by my feet constantly pressing it down. This makes the slipper very uncomfortable to wear.In addition, maybe due to them being roomy, they are not as warm as the previous design.Update 22nd April 21. I have added photos of the soles of these slippers after less than 3 months of wear. Initially, I thought that the sole was as good as the previous design but it is far inferior. For about 2 weeks I noticed a clicking with the right slipper and noticed that the heel had begun to split, as in picture 3. The right slipper's sole is now as you see it in pictures 2 and 3. I do not wear my slippers outside ( I know some people do) and have not become heavier footed or walk in any way different from when I purchased these before when they lasted nearly 2 years. These slippers are now NOT fit for purpose. A slipper should last longer than 3 months and I will be contacting the supplier regarding this.I would not purchase these slippers again and would not recommend that anyone wastes money buying them. I now need to search for a new reliable slipper.

I treated myself to these slipper/clogs and they are warm, comfortable and fit well. I alternate wearing them with similar slippers, (from M&S) I got for a Christmas 2020 gift. I have noticed that the back fleece material has opened and sponge pieces have appeared. I am going to try and sew the back fleece up. As you will appreciate, I am a little disappointed, especially as I do not wear them everyday. At the moment I cannot honestly say that this item was value for money. The style of these slippers has been changed and not for the better !!They are not the good strong sturdy make their predecessor were. I've been wearing the same Coolers for many years as its the only slipper that will fit the orthotic insoles I've got to wear.The old style was slim, deep and a sturdy comfortable slipper. This new make has a different sole which is slightly slippy on my kitchen floor and is a wider fitting meaning your feet move about inside the slipper making it easy to fall over. Within days one side of your heel is pressing down towards the floor. They do not give the same support as the older style.They look exactly the same apart from the sole and the fleecy piped edging around the slipper which is quite a bit wider. The picture shows the old style so this is a very deceiving. I had unfortunately taken all the wrappers off and attempted to wear them for a couple of hours so couldn't send them back. As I've got spinal arthritis they affected my whole posture and I ended up in pain so I will be putting them in the charity shop. Not Happy with this purchase !!

I purchased 2 pairs of these slippers, one for my mother who is 92 and one pair for myself. I had been looking for a pair of slippers that my mother could slip on in the night to visit the loo but not have anything she needed to bend over to help onto her feet. I liked the look of the small piece around the back of the sole of the slipper as I knew this would make my mother feel secure in the slippers as she could not get on with ordinary mule slippers. My mother loved these as they are so soft, warm and comfortable. She's so happy with them that she now wants my pair and I need to order myself some more. The size I ordered was a 6 and this is true to size.

I spent a lot of time reading reviews to get the perfect fit. This is it. I am a size 5 and so are the slippers. I have a fairly broad E fit foot and they are snug but I don't want them to be slipping off so that's fine by me. No doubt they will give a little over time any way. The sole is hard wearing and the inner sole is thick and cosy. Well worth getting a specific size, rather than S/M/L. The colour is very true to the picture though it has bled into the fleece trim a bit.

I bought these to replace a previous pair which were apparently the same style. So disappointed that the structure has changed - the sole is different and the overall sizing is much smaller. Seems a much inferior slipper. Will no longer accommodate my necessary insoles and the slipper itself has no arch support. Why change something which was so good?

Be wary. My first two pairs of coolers had same colour embroidery and were size 5. They had loose insoles, easily replaced by my own orthotics. The premiere version, which I bought and soon passed on to a friend, had contrasting embroidery, fixed insoles and my nearest size was 5/6. On the basis of the photo and sizing I assumed that the slippers illustrated were the earlier style I wanted. I was wrong. The embroidery may be self-colour and the size may be 5 but the insoles are fixed. They are also much warmer than I need for year round wear.

These are one of the best slippers, I personally have had. They mould to the foot without loosening off over time, like others from a well known high street store have done previously. They still maintain their shape and look smart. The sole is particularly good for taking the bins out, when outside or just having a walk around the garden. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.
