Great for the size, limitations on ports though
Great little USB hub if you understand it only has 1 port capable of USB 3.1/10Gbps and that there is no video supported through that port. So you can't connect a USBC to HDMI out for example. But it does do well to enable me to plug into my iPhone and get extra ports to an external SSD to record video, an external Rode USBC mic, and keep everything powered. I would love for a newer version to include an HDMI out as well as a second 10Gbps port.

Like all Smallrig items perfect!
Fits into the cage ecosystem well, connects quickly, is very stable, designed well, allows accessories to be connected all in one location. Sturdy mounting to frame of the cage.

All usbc port works
This is good. I tried other usbc hub and those didn’t work for multiple things. If the storage works wireless mic doesn’t. But with this and smallrig rig case I find the perfect combination.

Dose not work for iPhone 17 Pro max for shooting Apple ProRes RAW open gate.
Dose not work for iPhone 17 Pro max for shooting Apple ProRes RAW open gate. let alone ProRes HQ on an external ssd. And having it powered makes no difference. this is the sole reason I bought this, as to have a smaller rig that allowed me to connect both my Lark MS2 lavaliere mikes plus the external SSD required for ProRes raw recording. It was recommended in a you tube video before but unfortunately it simply dose not work for its intended needs.

Seamless integration, easy to use and compact. wish it had HDMI
The usb c hub works amazing with the MagSafe cage basic kit I bought and this hub. The only issue was when I tried to connect my hd camera monitor via HDMI-USBc; turns out usb-c 2.0 isn't compatible with video output and I got to thinking what else would you use that port for? I have my power, storage, and sound going through just fine but not my reference monitor. I feel it could be an oversight on SmallRigs side because every thing else works except video on via the usb-c hub. They could add an HDMI port. I love all the other products however it's always the small annoyances that people remember that could've been easily solved. UPDATE: SmallRig have reached out and said they let product design know and would consider releasing a new model with a HDMI port in the future!

Amazing find. Perfect solution for iPhone videography
Took a lot of internet research to finally find this little gem. I'm using it on a BeastGrip iPhone 15 Pro set up with a Rode mic and Samsung 2TB SSD. Works perfectly. Because the Rode mic is powered, I can plug both into the Small Rig hub and the iPhone can "see" the Samsung 2TB SSD and the Rode mic. The SmallRig hub has a very clever clip / cold shoe attachment that allows you to slide it into a cold shoe or clip it to your equipment. The cable is nice and short so no extra cable to fiddle with. And, the hub has a charging port so you can charge your iPhone as needed. This is truly one of those niche products that fits the bill perfectly. Even the price was right.

Great for the rig
Fits perfectly on my iPhone rig. I plug in a power bank and my mic receiver. Works just as I hoped. Great value and an integral tool for iphone photography and video.

For the price, it's good.
The only thing about this that I would change is the dedicated usb 3.0 and usb PD port. Why not make them both USB 3 AND PD? Sometimes I have my battery on a different spot, wether a phone rig or my Sony rig, and instead of being able to use either port for anything. I have to twist wires up, get longer wires in some instances to plug things in where they belong. Why dumb down a port to ONLY PD, when it can just as easily run data and give power as a USB 3/PD port? It's 2026, the tech is there and very affordable. I was going to give this a 4 star rating based off that being the only issue. Then theres the "hot shoe mount" that comes on this thing. it's a cheap spring loaded clip. There is no retention on it what so ever outside the wires you have going to it from your gear.

Great
Really great, actually don’t use it for a camera, but to connect several devises / drives to my macbook, great thing is that you can still charge as well.

As you'd expect from small rig, great, does exactly what it needs to splitting power input and audio.

Decepcionante.
