Carabiner is Inadequate for the Task
The net is a tad small for rectangular bales so I end up removing a flake each time I load a new bale. The quality of the net itself seems good but my horse bent the carabiner in under two weeks. It's made of aluminum and isn't properly rated for the job its being used for. Climbing rated carabiners are what's needed for this application. They are made of steel and rated for the weight and forces it's being subjected to. I will plunk down the extra $$ and hope the net lasts a while. The manufacturer should do the same.

Disappointed.
I bought the whole bale net to feed an entire square bale at a time. (Standard square) I had to change the rope out because it wasn’t long enough to even go around a bale. Took forever as the net is huge. Then the thing isn’t rectangular so the bale won’t fit inside very well(see picture). I have to wrestle and tug on the thing to get it tied and closed. Doesn’t hang neatly at all. Same durability as Hay Chix (which is awesome), but not at all easy to fill compared to Hay Chix. 100x better than anything from any other company though and more affordable than Hay Chix.

Excellent quality
This is a very well made hay net and holds a two string bale easily. The horses got used to using it right away and have no problem with it.

Nice slow feeding
Will hold our bale's but had to buy longer rope as one that came with it was too short to enable opening to be wide open. This was same issue other reviews mentioned. Works well with our three minature donkeys. Nice controlled feeding.

A little disappointed
Bought 3 of these bags mid February, started using them in March. By the end of March one already has a hole in it, a little disappointed considering the cost.

Work well immediately with the horses
Photo taken a couple of minutes after I put it out. I kept the twine on the bales while I worked the Haynet over the bale as it stood on it's end. Then I flipped the bale on it's other end, cut and removed the twine, and cinched/closed up the opening. The horses immediately began feeding. The problem I'm trying to solve is to be able to put out enough hay twice a week myself so that my elderly mother doesn't have to handle these heavy 40-50lb bales anymore.

Not big enough!
I’ve used this for a few days now. Seems to be decent quality but it DOES NOT fit a regular sized WA square bale. It was crazy difficult to get it for over the bale because the opening isn’t big enough and then I had to pull 4 flakes off to get it closed. Felt like it made a huge mess and didn’t work as advertised.

Good haynet.
Works well and still working after two months. Just be aware if you hang it like I do so horse shoes don't destroy it the tie rope will wear through and will have to retie the loop or replace the rope. Mine is still hanging on by a few threads, but the net is good.
