Its tight lid protects the sand against various pollutants, e.g. caused by unruly animals or against rainfall. It is made of dried pine wood, which has been impregnated with a non-toxic preparation safe for children's health. All elements of the sandbox are planed until a smooth surface is obtained, they have no scratches. Wooden sandpits can stand outside all the time, because they do not deform, they do not crack, and most importantly, they do not heat up, just like plastic sandpits.
