As stated in description and in answers .. the basket is definitely not thick or sturdy. It’s quite thin and flimsy. I bought it on basis of answer saying it sturdy. It sure is not. Would have preferred a thicker one.

Got this set for my daughter to teach her how to steam fish (so she's less likely to overcook/burn it). Work very well with her 6 at pressure cooker/rice cooker. She was also impressed with making hard boiled eggs in the trivet.

Excellent product. Heat up your bread. Steam your entire meal. A definite recommendation. It fits perfectly into two of my pans as well as my pressure cooker.

The design is good. The steamer basket and egg steamer rack can be used together or separately. Both easy to be put into the pan. Pretty stable.
