Sturdy for a loft bed (they all shake a bit) but we braced it into the corner and it also comes with bracelets for the wall. We love the LED lights were included at the exact length to go around the whole bed with brackets as well because the adhesive alone is not enough, they always come unstuck. Wish there were an about 10 more brackets because we spaced them out and one section still came unstuck so I needed to secure it with tape. Also great for ease of assembly. My kiddo is very happy with it. Looks great!

First the things I like about this loft bed. It is sturdy, easy to put together (use instructions) and can be assembled by one person (two are recommended). It is all wood, REAL WOOD, which is a plus, especially if you want to modify it. Anchor it to the wall and it is solid. Next, what I DONT like. The ladder has really narrow steps, the steps have sharp edges, and the ladder is too shallow of a angle for my taste. I got a small folding ladder to use instead. The entrance to the bed is also too narrow for an adult. Should be about 2 to 3 inches wider. Also I really feel the weight limit is MUCH LOWER than 400 lbs (or 500 as indicated in the instructions) based on the wooden slats used to sit the full size mattress on. I am 240 lbs and the slats bend considerably, so much I had to add some bracing because I believed they would break. I would say, as it is presented, the weight limit is probably closer to 220 lbs. To fix this you can get a piece of 14 gauge metal channel to replace the center wooden spar and perhaps a few schedule 40 metal pipes (4) to put between some of the slats equally. Doing so pushes the weight limit up to the range it should be and prevents the slat flex in my opinion. Finally the outgassing when it comes out of the box is pretty rough. Not sure if that can be mitigated, but perhaps you should find some way to assemble this in a well ventilated area for the first day. A simply fix for this design to bring it up to the stated weight allowance would be to replace the center wood spar with a metal box tube, double metal bar or 14 gauge metal channel. I realize this would probably up the cost, but it would make this a solid get for anyone who wants a quality full size loft for adults. You might want to widen the entrance gap to the bed by moving the short railing back a few inches and bevel the forward end of the steps. Bring the angle of the ladder out about 3 inches, put rubber sleeves over the hangers at the top of the ladder and you have a winner. If your willing to do some modification for adult use, or if you want to use this for a child under 200 pounds I can recommend this loft bed, especially if you like to do modifications yourself.

Turned out super cute! It's a little wobbly but I think securing it to the wall will help! Definitely worth the price! And putting it together wasn't to hard!

Overall it met our needs. It is very wobbly even with the stability bars on the bottom, it has to be all the way against the wall to not shake when climbing the ladder. It also had a very strong wood oder that took more than a day to dissipate. If it was more stable I would give higher rating.

It is very high and uncomfortable and noisy though the assembly is ok I wasn’t very happy with the product overall and didn’t last very long either

Bed was delivered faster than estimated. It is exactly as described. Set up was not bad. We did have to make some of the drill holes larger, but luckily my husband is handy so this was not an issue for us. I know there were complaints of the bed not being sturdy - In my opinion the bed is suitable. If you want a loft bed that is more sturdy, you will need to pay over $400. I paid $170 for this bed and I am satisfied. I really wanted a wood style and this is a great option for that. My son is 7 and I know he will be able to use this bed for at least 5 years. He loves it and has spent every day hanging out in his room because he loves it so much.

Let's start with the facts: this bed came with what I can only describe as a *suspicious* number of pieces. I counted 47 bolts, 200-some wood dowels, 12 Allen wrenches (why do I need 12 different sizes of the same tool), and one single, solitary instruction diagram drawn by what I assume was a caffeinated raccoon. Build time: 4 hours. Beers required: 6. By hour two I had developed what I can only call "Allen wrench trigger finger." By hour three I was on a first-name basis with every screw. By hour four I stood back, sweaty, victorious, and beheld my creation: a genuine, honest-to-God loft bed, sturdy enough to survive a minor earthquake or a very enthusiastic child. My five-year-old took one look at this masterpiece — this monument to my patience and questionable BAC — and declared, and I quote, "I don't want to sleep up there, it's scary." He then proceeded to use the ladder as monkey bars, the understructure as a "cave," and the actual mattress as a trampoline. At no point during any of this did he attempt to sleep on it. Not once. Not even under duress. Not even bribed with ice cream. So now I own a $180, 47-bolt, blood-sweat-and-Allen-wrench jungle gym that occasionally, MAYBE, gets slept in if there's a thunderstorm and he wants to feel "high up and safe," his words, not mine.

Be prepared to be very disappointed. It’s basically a cardboard cut out of a bunk bed. You have to mount into a corner and attach to two walls for it to be stable. The tiny slats that support the top bed are not enough and could snap with a small bounce in just the right spot. We beefed up the slats with boards that went along the entire length. No one over 80 lbs should be climbing on top… just not ideal unless you can reinforce and have the skills to modify it.
