Good little welder (buy a regulator though)
I work for a welding distributor and found this for my daughter who is a student. I cannot afford the "Blue" one and all of the others are out of the question. I tested this unit out and:1. Buy a regulator for the TIG process2. Buy some ceriated tungsten 1/16 or 3/32 as this is an inverter machine.3. When using 110, use the 3/32 rods (smallest rods)Welds pretty good for the level of machine that it is. The TIG gun is a little wonky but it is comfortable. The stick did great on 6013 and 7018. 1/8 70118 blew my circuit breaker on 110. Great student welder but I wouldn't run a business off of it. It is very light and well put together. I was very surprised that it didn't come with a regulator. Get a good one though since one side of it is holding back some 2000 PSI on a full cylinder. Don't go cheap (less than $100) for one and for goodness sakes, go name brand with that part. (Weldmark, Lincoln, Victor, Smith, Miller ect)

Great little entry level learning tool, Horrible torch!
Great value so far, really works well good to learn on. No frills, except the HF start which is such an important tool when doing TIG welding to eliminate contamination of the weld. You have ZERO other adjustments than the amperage you use. Works well up to 95 amps on 110v and VERY well on 220v. I would recommend 220v for any welder due to the extra power and smoothness you will have. This welder makes you learn the basics and not get confused with all sorts of knobs, modes, etc... You have to learn and understand TRAVEL SPEED, Heat affects, You will find that its better to do small welding runs, then let the workpiece cool and restart. It's a great low cost introduction to TIG welding. You need to replace the torch though. The torch that is comes with is ridiculously CHEAP, it is confusing to those new to this welding process. Why have a gas flow knob on the torch when the machine has preset preflow & Post flow about 2-3 seconds.BUY A NEW TORCH, ALTHOUGH, it will cost as much as the welder itself! I think they should offer the welder ALONE reduce it's cost and give a link to a supplier of torches here in the USA.

Powerful Little Machine
I bough this for a chopper build I’m completing. The welder has performed well. The TIG torch may be cumbersome if you’re used to high end models. But for me it worked just fine. The stick mode is powerful enough for my needs. I’m using 7018 3/32 rods.

It's a DUD
First one I got, didn't work. Specifically tig. Tried 110v and 220v and still nothing. It just makes a loud buzzing sound like its overloading. Talked to seller and they were ok with getting me a replacement. Only good thing about this order. Got the second one almost two months later from ordering my first one and it's as if they just reboxed the first one and shipped it. Has the same exact issue. Also, the gas connection is far from good. Leaks really bad. Doesn't seem like anyone tests the product before boxing.I only see one review, but it says "5 stars out of 3 reviews" not sure if that's a glitch or what.I watched many youtube vids about this welder and other ebay/amazon welders and they mostly worked. In the vids at least. That's why i gave this a shot. Do yourself a favor and invest in something worth your time and money.
