FACTS: 1. Does it get HOT or just warm. A. HOT! Some reviews say "not really hot". Bull. Any hotter and could not drink it (mine at least, works great). 2. SWITCHING OFF and ON. It has NO manual switch or control to turn off or on. Put a cup on an: it pushed down the top platrom and comes "ON" and you can clearly see it is on by the very visible BLUE LIGHT on. If goes "OFF" when you remove the weight of the cup. (See my suggestion below for more on this). 3. CUP REQUIREMENT. My usaul cup which is SMALLER at base and has a ridge around outside circumference so bottom is NOT FLAT and NOT touching onto warming surface worked FINE. It kept my coffee hot for a long time as I sipped slowly; NO PROBLEMS (so the need for flat bottomed cup is bull). 4. INCLUDED COVER works good to help contain the heat in top of cup (cover it after each sip) and the cover is good and works well and should be larger than MOST cups.SUGGESTION: The only small issue I have is: when you finish your coffee the bottom of cup is pretty hot. My concern is heat affect (??? potentially) from that hot cup sitting on my wooden table. You can use the cover like a coaster or use a coaster (if don't want to get up and take cup away to kitchen immediately. In this regard, a switch (or methodology) for TURNING IT OFF without unplugging it and let the empty cup continue to sit on the warmer to cool down WOULD BE NICE. That is the ONLY (minor) REASON I took 1 star off (It should be a 4.5 rating ... but n/a on Amazon ratings).

Coffee snob reporting! I love coffee, mostly cold brew, but I also have 1 - 2 cups of pour over coffee every week day at work. The problem? Sometimes it takes so long to drip, my coffee is cold by the time it touches my lips. And while I love cold brew coffee, hot coffee that's lukewarm is unpleasant. A YouTuber I enjoy and follow uses one of this type to keep her tea warm, so I perused Amazon for something similar, settling on this brand.So I will admit, it was my fault I didn't notice this was not USB but an actual outlet plug. That was a bit of a bummer, as it took finagling to get it plugged into my power cord. The cord itself isn't massively long so it's pretty much stuck in one spot - oh well.Other than the cord (not being USB) and the length (not being quite long enough), this product really does work fantastically. It heats up quickly, keeps my cup of joe piping hot and cools off quickly as well. I appreciate the light to let you know when the warmer is on; the way this works is super simple (setting a cup on the warmer depresses a button using gravity, which does make a slight click noise), but sometimes simple is what you need.I've been using this warmer for nearly a month, and I love it. Easy to use, easy to clean, works great - would definitely recommend.

Live it my coffee stays nice and hot all day

I thought it came with the mug. It doesnt. That’s on me. The rubber is a magnet for grime and is annoying to clean. Everything else about it is exactly how I thought it would be so it’s fine.

Got this to melt my Seint cream cosmetics. Heats up quickly and it’s very hot. Be careful! Definitely recommend.

I like this coffee warmer a lot, mostly because I don't have to remember to shut it off. It goes on automatically when you place your cup or mug on it and shuts off when the mug is removed. I would have given it 5 stars if the power cord was just a little longer. It barely makes it from the wall outlet to where I want it on my desk, but otherwise it's a good product and I recommend it.

So, I am currently sick and drinking hot tea at my desk and it keeps getting cold because the office is cold. I get fed up and go onto Amazon to specifically buy a mug warmer and picked this one. My first day using it and my tea had already gotten cold when I put it on the warmer. It took a little bit, but it actually warmed up my cold tea; so, just imagine what it will do if you already have a hot cup. Super easy to figure out and the handy topper they include for your cup is a nice idea to keeping the mug warmer, as the base warms your cup, considering your space around you.

Very easy to use - I love the auto on/off feature when you set down or pick up your cup. I do wish it warmed the coffee up a little more but it’s definitely kept at a drinkable temperature. I do use a mug with a narrow base, so that may contribute to it.
