Low cost, high spec hat for serious sun protection
Really impressed with this hat. Good protection from serious sun - wide brim all round; good ventilation through the mesh walls of the crown and a solid top.UV protection rat8ng of 50!!The inside hat band seems to have good ‘grip’ so no need to use the lanyard ( which drive me mad and look naff)Packs completely flatOnly slight downside - the brim is not wired, and after packing, it can be twisted all over the place and look a bit random.

Excellent would buy again.
Good quality, well made. Woven leather style hatband is a nice touch. Folds absolutely flat but pops up nicely when worn. Vents excellent. Chin strap works well and can also be used to secure hat to shirt etc.

Effective sun barrier
The hat is as really effective for keeping the sun off. And I like that it is ventilated. Used it in Machu Picchu

Nicht ganz überzeugt
Der Hut hat eine breite Krempe und schützt damit bestens. Der Kopfteil ist allerdings aus einem nicht festem Netzgewebe hergestellt, wodurch er nicht stabil ist und damit dem Kopf aufliegt und infolgedessen zuweilen etwas zusammengedrückt wirkt beim Tragen. Dadurch schwindet die Ästhetik eines Hutes.
