I purchased both editions of this landscape projects book to add to.My Black &Decker reference library.

But we are going to be moving into a house without landscape. I bought this book because I will hire a gardener to help me. A book with photos will help me to share this with a French gardener who will then have a better idea of what I want to plan. Will this book work? Absolutely! I have already shown it to a couple of people and they understood immediately what I wanted and taught me the words for the tools or parts of the landscape I didn't know. This book is excellent for my purposes.

The entire book is useful for someone who has no idea or experience in landscaping. Every Black & Decker I own, on any topic, has proven to be extremely helpful.The descriptions, pictures, and detailed diagrams are unparalleled for the inexperienced DIY'er.I will buy more in the future, and would recommend these books to anyone needing assistance.

Well written with clear illustations.

Really easy to follow advice on a variety of projects like arroyos (dry creek), rain barrels, and swales. Not just construction projects. Oh, and there was even one photo of a woman doing a project.

I really like the whole Black and Decker Series. This particular book didn't contain as much of the projects I would do though. I'm sure others will find them helpful.

This guide offers a nice range of projects and provides detailed instructions for even a novice to produce their own pieces from compost bins to garden arbors. There are also explanations detailing the need and use for landscaping products to create healthy lawns and gardens.

Very good book with good examples. Each project has a step by step illustrated guide that makes it easy to build.
