I had read other reviews of these bags ripping before purchasing. When I received them they were wrapped in a nice clear wrap with the company sticker to close. Really cute. I opened each bag carefully as to not rip them just in case. I can see how they may rip if opened aggressively or carelessly, they're paper bags. But if opened normally they're not going to rip. They are great quality! I purchased them as goody bags for a birthday party and I've already filled them and they hold up great and are a great size! They are red with a nice matte finish which I love. I would definitely purchase them again!

Did the job! The paper is a little thin so if your putting something heavy they will probably rip! I used them for candy cookies and slime as a party favor bag!
