Scrap Quilt Sensation

A really nice book, showing several patchwork techniques that genuinely use up lots of scrappy pieces. Nice pictures and good advice about fabric choice and colour selection. Good mix of inspiring images and practical techniques. Suitable for beginners or improvers

This is a really useful and interesting book, advises on colour, shade and brightness of fabric, and i really like the offset blocks in the quilts, adds a casual look to them. Instructions are clear and detailed. I have learnt a few short cuts and new techniques. Good for reference or to make the whole quilt as it appears- love it!

Very good to use up scraps. It would have been better it some of the samples had been done in paler colors in stead of all bright ones. Some of the pictures l found it hard to see the patterns clearly

This is a brilliant book with lovely pictures and lots of ideas and tips for both experienced and beginner quilters. I've been quilting for a while now, and I found it very clear and useful. Buy this one for your long-term bookshelf, it's well worth the money for the interest and stimulation it will give you!

The quilts in this book are relatively simple shape-wise; lots of squares and triangles. But by deft selection of colours and balancing dark/ medium/ light shades the author achieves some amazing results. As a quilter with a huge stash of fabric (but who keeps on buying more for every new project!) I feel motivated to use up some oddments- yet still to create an inspirational item.

The quilt design pattern I was looking for was Star burst, can anybody help with thi pattern. Would be most grateful.

Wonderful book . Beautiful patterns. However the paper it is printed on is very poor and I doubt it will withstand being used a lot . Such a shame

The quilts shown in this book are so beautiful I can't wait to get started (must finish the ones I am currently doing first)... The designs look like they will be somewhat forgiving of less than accurate pricing too, which would be a bonus for me!
