Bought this to replace my original set, that has been lost. It works very well. I have fried several turkeys with it already. The only complaint is that the rod that goes up through the turkey, is aluminum. It’s sturdy, but it will bend at the base if your not careful. As long as your aware that you can’t put a lot of back and forth pressure on it, you’ll be fine. The thermometer worked fine too. If you need a replacement set or just an extra, you can’t beat this kit, for price and function. I give it 5 stars even though it bends a bit.

The most dangerous part of turkey frying is lowering and raising 12-16 lbs of bird into 3-5 gallons of hot oil. This must be done slowly and deliberately. Do yourself a favor and buy the proper tools for the job. This stand worked great with a 14 lb bird, and should hold one larger than this. The additional spikes that mount into the base of the turkey stand should work well for frying multiple chickens. You could probably do 5 whole chickens at a time. The marinade injector is just a bonus item. Looks as good as any other. Thermometer worked well.

This is a great budget set for turkeys and smaller game. The perforated stand is very light, and I was a little skeptical of how well it was going to hold up in the fryer. I think I have given the stand a thorough test, as I not only fried a 15lb turkey with it, I also smoked a 16lb turkey with it by using the hook and perforated stand to hang it in my smoker. It worked exceptionally well. The thermometer works pretty well and is fairly accurate. I didn't really have any problems attaching it to my 10 gallon pot. The think I liked most about the thermometer, is that it has markings for 80 degrees, which is the sweet spot for brewing beer when cooling the wort. So being able to use it not only for frying, but also in my beer brewing hobby...it definitely an added perk. I have not used the chicken skewers yet, but would like to attempt it sometime soon. I am sure this thing will be able to handle 3 chickens though. The injector was nice...but I used the tony c's creole butter, and they come with their own injectors. Nice to have an injector though if you don't have one...makes a good piece of equipment to add to any kitchen utensil arsenal. I think the only "con" is that I would like the perforated stand to be a little thicker...which is why I knocked off 1 star.

These poultry racks are great for turkeys or chickens when useing a deep fat fryer. They also work well with my turkey fryer that requires no grease to cook your favorite foods for the holidays. Easy clean up and very handy to insert and remove in any kind of fryer. You will be happy with this frying rack.

I thought it could have been a little more sturdier but it is fine and gets the job done

We got this for Thanksgiving and used it for several turkeys for several gatherings. Cleans up well. Is sturdy.

I bought this as a replacement for a lost rack and hook. I was pleased to see the threaded skewers that came with the product which were an essential resource for frying turkey breasts. See, the turkey breasts that you buy for Thanksgiving, etc are only the breast. Without a backbone there would be no way to secure the meat for frying. The skewers held the turkey breasts in place for frying. Ingenious. The bonus thermometer was a useful replacement. The injector is cheap and adequate but I already had a better one on hand. Generally I brine my turkeys which negates the use of injections anyhow.

Did a great job and was delivered earlier than expected

This piece of equipment was just perfect for frying the large turkey I bought for Christmas. It was very sturdy and well made.
