SwitchBot Meter Pro, Digital Hygrometer & Thermometer - Wireless Indoor Temperature & Humidity Monitor with Bluetooth App Control, Real-Time Alerts, Works with Apple Home

This is a fantastic device, I am very happy with it! Having the extra sensor is a plus as I am trying to monitor temps in different rooms without having to move the MeterPro itself. Matter setup wasn't the most straightfoward compared to other smart systems I have but at least it was only a 1-time frustration after figuring it out...I couldn't seem to determine if a Google Nest hub was truly required but it seems to have completed the setup w/ my Alexa account instead with no other equipment needed. This is a great addition to my smart systems and will be SO helpful in working on equalizing temps throughout my house, and for the money spent I got more thank I expected with this device & the SwitchBot infrastructure.

It is just as described and works well. The hub connected via matter on first try and the sensors all connected with ease. I set up the hub to control an air purifier with IR and it was easy and works. The IR has great coverage. I have verified the temperatures with other devices and it is good. I have it connected to Home Assistant with Matter. What I would now like is an illuminated screen and the ability to pass the IR control to my Matter connected devices.

I got this combo of hub mini, meter Pro and indoor/outdoor temp/hygrometer a few weeks ago. The price is not not bad with the discount offered when I bought them. I already have another meter Pro, as well other SwitchBot devices, and so I am familiar with their products. Even for first timer, the set up of them is really very simple - you have the App downloaded and account registered. All you have to do is to add devices, and then follow the online instructions which are only like 3 steps. One by one they will be on your device list. One very strange thing though is that the hub mini only comes with a regular USB cable without the on-line sensor on the cable, so the mini does not display temperature nor humidity. That's a bummer unless you use it mainly as Matter device and IR remote controller, not to use its climate function. Otherwise you have to buy(?) another cable with the in-line sensor. The IR function is very simple to set up - just choose the type of devices and the whole process is straightforward. However the instructions of matter setup are a bit confusing. I finally managed to figure it out but the use of third party App like Google Home has only limited functions compared to using SwitchBot own App. And I find myself going to their App instead of using Home. This is a rather common problem with matter enabled devices. As for the meter pro, I like it very much. It is accurate, display is beautiful and response to climate change is fast when I put it in different locations like living room, garage, front yard. It gives 2 zones of data and you can choose the sources of either zones, if you have other sensors or just those data of your location outdoor. The indoor/outdoor temp/hygrometer is very responsive too, but if I can only choose one, I will take meter Pro any day. I guess for people in the go all the time, you can carry the smaller device and can have useful climate info thro the App. They may find this very convenient. Overall, I would recommend this package if the price is right and if it comes with a cable with in-line sensor.

I originally came to know about Switchbot through their automated curtain closure. Since them I am using one Switchbot product or the other. Specific to this Thermometer, I used it for more than a month now. While I configure it to measure Temp, Humidity, Absolute Humidity, Dew Point and VPD every ten minutes, its battery performance is so far so good. You can refer the screenshots for specific measurements. I validated reading with another thermometer I have and its accurate. I liked its alert functionality and you can see in the video on how it works. Since switchbot comes with latest matter protocol, I integrated with Google and Samsung Smart things to control my indoor humidifier and Temp to keep the comfort level and VPD helped set appropriate water vapor level for proper plant growth. As an added bonus, you can store data for 2yrs on board and export into a CSV format for any additional analysis or opt to store data in the cloud for historical analysis. Overall I an please with its performance, price and will recommend it for any one in the market for a reliable thermometer.

SwitchBot did it again! The new Meter Pro with Matter hub mini is awesome. It syncs very well with Apple HomeKit (of course, it works with non-Matter services too). The nice big screen is a plus. I love how it has an outdoor sensor as well, so you can see inside temperature and humidity levels as well as the outside temperature and humidity. The outdoor sensor can be placed anywhere. There is also an included strap that allows it to be hung on a hook. The Meter Pro has a built-in adjustable stand as well. I have not had any connectivity issues since installing either. I highly recommend SwitchBot products. I was not paid and did not receive this product for this review. I bought this on my own to go with my SwitchBot ecosystem. I previously had the regular hub mini, so this was also an upgrade.

When it comes to connecting with Matter, this thing is essentially useless. It barely functions. It takes forever to set up. It inconsistently sets up. It even has a hard time getting on Wi-Fi properly. Every operation with the Hub is slow and painful. I originally purchased this in order to use my SwitchBot curtain with Matter. Unfortunately, I could not get it to consistently work correctly. It would constantly disconnect, be unavailable, have all types of issues. It doesn't seem like there's any serious consideration to updating the firmware on a regular basis or fixing the problems generally. I've decided to go with a BLE bridge rather than continuing to mess with Matter and this hub, and use that to control my curtain bot.

Works with Alexa, with the Hub Mini Matter I was finally capable to make Alexa use the Temperature sensors for Routines. Nothing else worked before. Now I can control room temperatures through routines with the heater and AC just on smart switches.

Very nice features and I wanted it to work. But just doesn't work well enough. I got it working with Meter, hub, and outdoor sensor inside when in close proximity. But after I put the outdoor sensor (my main interest) outdoors, it would cut disconnect frequently. If it can't work through your wall at a short distance (~ 10+ ft) then it is NOT a functional OUTDOOR device. I am annoyed because I spent a lot of time researching and setting it up and testing. Returning on the day after it arrived.

La connexion entre les différents capteurs et afficheurs est en Bluetooth à faible consommation d'énergie "BLE". Le paramétrage est très simple et il est possible d'accéder aux données depuis plusieurs téléphones ou tablettes. Le hub est rattaché à tous les périphériques via le Bluetooth. Seul le hub est connecté au wifi et permet de sauvegarder les données dans le cloud et de donner accès en temps réel à distance. Nous sommes pleinement satisfaits de l'écho système switchbot.

I have had this kit for a bit more than a month now and everything is working as it should. Setup was easy using the app and I love the temperature widgets you can have on your phone making it quick to see the temperature whenever you like at a glance. The routine/automation capabilities will be great to notify me if the temperatures go outside of my programmed range. Being this kit has the hub included means I will be good for any other sensors or devices I want to get from Switchbot in the future.

Ho già avuto stazioni meteo in passato ed i problemi principali sono sempre stati l'invadenza estetica dell'oggetto, spesso poco adatta agli inserimenti nell'arredo esistente ed il cavo di alimentazione, che costringe ad installazioni improbabili. In questo caso entrambi gli aspetti risolti in maniera egregia: la stazione meteo principale e' decisamente poco ingombrante, dalle linee sobrie e pulite da potersi adattare ad ogni tipo di arredo. La si puo' persino appendere a muro, volendo, con la relativa predisposizione.. o tenere appoggiata su una superficie, sia in verticale, che inclinata, col supporto a scomparsa presente nella parte posteriore. Tenuta per qualche settimana in fianco ad un'altra stazione meteo esistente da tempo, ha sempre rilevato dati perfettamente allineati, il che mi fa sentire tranquillo sulla validità dei dati esposti. Gli accessori del kit poi (un sensore da esterni ed un hub) si sono rivelati persino ben oltre le aspettative: il sensore da esterni e' decisamente piccolo (ho messo l'Euro nella foto per valutarne le dimensioni effettive !), facilmente occultabile quasi ovunque, da appendere o da fissare a parete con gli accessori inclusi (laccetto e biadesivo), mentre l'hub stupisce piacevolmente con una funzione che non risulta indicata da nessuna parte, se non nel manuale e nella confezione (nell'inserzione ho ricontrollato, ma non c'e' al momento alcuna indicazione in tal senso !): e' anche un comodo ripetitore di comandi IR (infrarossi), con capacità di apprendere i comandi di condizionatori, televisori o altre utenze comandate da telecomando IR. TOP !!! Con la funzionalità Bluetooth, il processo di attivazione/abbinamento e' un gioco da ragazzi e sarete operativi in men che non si dica ! Non entro nel merito di tutti gli automatismi che e' possibile creare con sistemi centrali di domotica o combinazioni di app, perché me ne perderei sicuramente piu' di qualcuno, ma qui il limite e' solamente nelle idee che vi possono venire. Concludo confermando che l'azienda e' molto attenta alle indicazioni degli utenti e la richiesta di modifica del formato della data segnalata in una recensione di qualche mese fa e' già stata inserita ed ora e' possibile settare la data secondo il formato europeo ! ;-) Non per niente, malgrado il prodotto sia relativamente nuovo, appena abbinato riceverete la richiesta di aggiornare il firmware, operazione altrettanto semplice come l'attivazione. Ottimo acquisto ed anche ottima idea per i regali (mi spiace che sia appena trascorso il periodo natalizio, ma ci sono molte altre occasioni !).

Reseña: Estoy encantado con esta estación meteorológica de SwitchBot. Es compacta pero muy completa. Muestra temperatura y humedad con buena precisión, y se sincroniza fácilmente con la app del móvil. Pude configurarla en pocos minutos y el emparejamiento por Bluetooth fue inmediato. Lo que más me gusta es que puedes ver el historial desde el móvil, algo súper útil si quieres controlar las condiciones de un cuarto específico, como donde duermen los niños o una habitación con plantas sensibles. También se puede vincular con Alexa, lo que añade comodidad extra. Pros: Medición precisa y confiable App intuitiva y con historial detallado Compatible con asistentes como Alexa y Google Home Diseño limpio, discreto y fácil de leer Contras: Para funciones avanzadas se necesita el Hub de SwitchBot Pantalla no tiene retroiluminación (aunque eso ayuda a ahorrar batería) Una herramienta ideal si te interesa mantener bajo control el ambiente de tu casa, sobre todo en temporadas con cambios bruscos de clima.
