High quality tent
The media could not be loaded. While Sptingbar is an American company they out sourced this tent manufacture to China. Mine has excellent quality when received. Only a spring retention cable inside one of the poles wasn’t installed correct. 5 minutes to find a pair of long needles pliers had it fixed. Fabric and stitching were excellent on my tent.I setup the tent and am very happy with it. Spacious, sturdy and easy to setup. I have a bad back so I was worried about the weight, but the weight is split between the tent and poles, which are in separate bags. 25lbs for the poles and 55-60 for the tent. The canvas bags are great. Even though the tent weighs what it does, the bags many handles made it easy to pick up.The storage bag is oversized so you don’t have to fight to roll the tent into the original size. I actually left a rug in my tent (forgot it) and still fit the rolled up tent in the bag.Update: we’ve camped in this tent several times now. It takes me about 30 minutes solo to erect. We love it! I’ve tried for years to get my wife to camp and she would usually last 1 night and be miserable. The first time out in the springbar, she actually asked if we could stay a 2nd night! She is now a happy camper and I’m happy too. I highly recommend. My wife said “it’s very cozy”

Great tent - weather-proof, sturdy, easy to assemble
I like that this has a mostly level roof - you can stand up as soon as you walk in. It's easy to assemble. Very sturdy. We always get a couple of good rain storms while camping, and it has kept the water out just fine. The zippers are super industrial-strength, so they will last a long time. There's no baggy fabric that bunches and gets caught in the zippers. The full-length windows are nice too - you can get a lot of fresh air when you open the window flaps.

Quality tent
Love my classic jack 140 !! Can set it up by yourself, tons of space inside, I have a queen air bed, 2 small dressers,a big folding chair, 2 end tables, and I still have room, and there is a hammock on the ceiling that you can use for storage, very handy for cords, glasses, books, hats, etc. The canvas is thick and heavy-duty,and the floor seems very thick, plenty of windows and the zippers seem to be heavy-duty, just went through a night long downpour, stayed completely dry inside. I really haven't found anything that I don't like !!! I highly recommend this tent !!

Excellent!
We finally got to try it out for a few days. It was great! Nice and warm inside. Stood strong against the breeze. It takes 2 of us to put it up but it was easy. The stakes are nice and heavy duty and not those flimsy little ones you usually get. The zippers are nice heavy duty that don’t jam up. It’s bug tight. Only a couple got in but that was my own fault. It’s got a screen door and a canvas door so you can air it out during the day. The pole bag, stake bag and tent bag are also tough and oversized so you get it your stuff back in without straining. The canvas wasn’t as thick as I had hoped but it’s still good. I think this is the best tent I’ve had other than my old army tent.

Best tent EVER!!
I'm in love with my Springbar tent. I used it for a week camping in PA and it kept me out of the rain very nicely. I did have to set it up in my backyard and keep it up for a while to let it dry after camping, since there was so much rain, but now it's safely stored to prevent mold. I got the 10x10, and it's very easy to put up and take down. Requires little maintenance over the week of camping, and doesn't feel like it's going to blow away like most modern tents do. The screens make air flow easy to do. We had a BUNCH of gear, so it really only comfortably fit two of us, but if you're just doing a sleeping back and duffle per person, you could fit a lot more people. I remember that my family (6 total) would use the same model of tent when I was a kid, and we were quite safe and comfortable as well.

This is a home away from home
Left me start off with my one complaint, I would prefer purchasing something made in the U.S. if the quality is as good or better even if the price is a little higher. Since the Skyliner is made in The U.S. I was considering it but sorry $$2000+ was out of my price range especially after a close inspection of the CJ 140. I’m not a tent expert but I’ve slept in more than my share of tents and the CJ 140 is my favorite so far. The Skyliner is also well made with some nice added features but in my opinion it’s not worth another $1000. Yes, this tent is heavy but it’s a base camp type of tent and not a backpacking tent. The stitching, zippers and overall quality is similar to the Skyliner and as good or better than the top competitors. If you set up the Classic Jack alongside a Skyliner and maybe a Kodiak next to each other and left them out over a long period of time based on the quality I would say that they would all last a similar amount of time. I would guess the longest lasting would be the Skyliner but not by a lot and then the classic Jack and Kodiak in that order. If you took good care of all three tents they would probably outlast your tent camping lifespan. I went over my tent carefully and the stitching, zippers, floor, poles, etc, were all well designed and durable without any defects. Just be sure to lay a tarp underneath it after checking for sharp objects, dry it out properly after each use, reapply a good fabric protector every so often, and try to avoid setting it up in a spot where the summer sun is beating down on it from sun up to sundown and the Classic Jack 140 should last a lifetime even being made in China.
