Don't Do it to Yourself.
I purchased these after reading a reviews online. I don't know what people are used to playing music through but the sound quality is abysmal across the range. Those cool looking LEDs are actually dull and insipid with unsightly hot spots and the pulse feature is laughable. I wanted to love these speakers, I would have settled for just liking them a little but they're awful. As is the nature with this type of product you don't realise how bad it is until you unbox it and try it for yourself by which time it's non-returnable.

An Updated Review after 30 months.
So after 30 months, I feel like this should be updated for accuracy purposes, I'll leave my original review below my update. The lighting has gone on one speaker so that it flickers a lot which can be a tremendous distraction, but most importantly the audio quality has dipped to an unbearable level now. The bass has remained but it now completely overpowers the actual audio. Even lowering the bass manually using the subwoofer just means that the audio becomes too quiet to hear at a reasonable volume.I would say this started happening at the 18-24 month mark, so whilst they do look attractive, be mindful that a long life may not be something you get out of them, as this also happened to my friend's as well.Original Review ---The lights don't actually pulse, regardless of levels of bass or volume. That's the only gripe though. The colours are very nice, the build very unique, very easy to set up and most importantly the audio quality is excellent, being crisp with a good bass to it.Ended up recommending to my friend who bought a red set, which looks and sounds equally impressive.

Stylish and clear sound system. Would recommend cautiously.
This system is extremely beautiful. It's blue LEDs are bright and vibrant, and it goes really well with any system, be it gaming, or casual television.I was severely let down however, when after a few days the speakers started to emit a screaming sound. Like major and LOUD interference, there was no way to turn it down as the volume dials didn't seem to work. Also, the LEDs in the left of both the subwoofer and the speakers went out, whilst the right side stayed on. I believe this was a defect in the product itself, or during delivery, as when I had the product, I was extra careful so to not damage the speakers. After my first disappointment I threw away the first set and ordered another. Since then, the speakers have been brilliant, no problems so far (I've had the new ones about 4 months). AND as a plus, the sound seems to be a lot more clear than the original.Given 3 stars due to the first set being defective or damaged. However, this system truly is a brilliant addition to my gaming rig and it brightens up the room.

Good while they lasted
Good while they lasted. Fine for playing music in a bedroom or small room. I've had them for just over a year and yesterday the left speaker went practically silent. I'm glad I've kept the subwoofer as the Logitech Z533 I got today starts to sound distorted when the bass is turned up beyond about 60%, so I might use the GOgroove subwoofer with the Logitech speakers.

Fantastic set of speakers
Great pair of speakers with more power and bass than sensible to use backed by very good sound quality, the lights look great although you will have to turn up the volume to see it pulse with the bass

Twin speakers dont glow
I used this for my pc and it all works except the two speakers don't light up just the Subwoofer and changes brightness when music etc is playing.. It is a loud and clear set for the price and is amazing but only thing wrong with mine is the speakers don't glow.. On another note absolutely easy to setup three wires one being plug and your good to go

Dirty and damaged
I am so disappointed. Both speakers have hairline fractures in the plastic in the same place. The end LED on both speakers are also not in the correct position. There are scratches on the bottom of the plastic with bits peeling off. The sub-woofer also has hairline fractures, and some sort of animal hair and piece of paper stuck behind the front plastic panel. Clearly these are returned speakers that have been defective. No one has bothered to check them out before reselling. The original box also has a hole in it. Finger prints all over the glass. Terrible.

For the price of this, the sub quality is pretty slick. Kind of lacking that you're stuck with the single speaker output but they're quality is genuinely great for the price. I use them with my PC to watch movies play games or listen to music and they make the bottom floor of my house rumble without really degrading too much quality.Unless you are truly into your sound, then get a full surround kit with a far more powerful sub. If you want something cheap that still packs descent bass then i'd say this is for you or any "starter" bass junkie lol
