Amazing sound at this price point!
I was blown away by how detailed and engaging these iem's sound, rivalling others at twice the price. Unfortunately they were a bit uncomfortable for my small ears, but otherwise phenomenal in every aspect.

If you like the Explorer, this is a safe bet! Awesome sound quality and comfortable.
These sound great. I got mine for under $200 on Prime Day sale from HiFiGo through Amazon. I returned the Aful Explorers in favor of these. The bass still hits enough to sound tough, it’s very accurate and goes low.. They seem much wider and bigger in the soundstage than the Explorers. They image MUCH better. The mids are non-fatiguing for a vocal-or-lead-forward tuning. Snare drums sound amazing, like on Dirty Loops’ cover of Living For The City. I feel like it is almost as if they tilted the curve of the Explorer a hair towards the highs, and a hair under in the bass, keeping the same overall signature, but it is so much more than that. The treble is sweet and there is (for me) jaw-dropping detail and high resolution. They are apparently louder. They are strongly revealing of the recorded material; Steely Dan’s Everything Must Go album sounds amazing through these. I haven’t tried anything that doesn’t sound awesome. You can discern every detail in the songs, hear every instrument separately. These are more than earphones, they truly function as “monitors.” I was going to live with the Explorers, but I decided to try the P5+2 after comparing the response graphs of many different models, with the Explorer as my baseline. The P5+2 is slightly larger in some ways and shaped slightly differently than the Explorers, and I have to hand the comfort win to the Explorer, I could wear those for literally hours. The P5+2 are basically the same for me. I prefer these over the KE4 as well, which I also returned, and it was very good but fatiguing in the highs at high volume for me, with memory foam tips. The KE4 was also huge/deep, but fit me fine. I was tempted by the Ziigaat Lush, Odyssey, Odyssey 2. I did not try any of those. I stopped with the P5+2 as it meets my needs for the price. I build and design speakers and crossovers as a hobby so I am super picky about sound. I also considered 7hz Divine and Letshuoer S08, but I was shy about planar driver IEMs. I just heard they sound unique, and sound best with more power and a balanced connection. I am not an earphone hobbyist, no anime girl posters in my house. I just want to drive these with a normal old 3.5mm jack. There were no cartoon characters on the packaging, which I found deeply satisfying.

The Best IEM In-ear Headphone I Have So Far...
The best IEM I have, not regret at all, this treasure may with me for many years, I believe. The only thing I need to adjust is the bass level on the equaliser in the player; I like to set it to 7 or 8, and the overall sound is just perfect. The included earbuds (small) feel a bit tight, so I’m thinking of switching to foam tips (Dekoni), but I’m still undecided—I’ll give them a listen first. Overall, for this price point, the sound quality is unbeatable; I don’t regret it one bit.

Excellent sound and comfort!
I've been using these for a while now and the audio quality is fantastic. I run them directly from my laptop without a DAC, and they still perform amazingly well. I listen to almost every genre-with a heavy focus on instrumental music-and the instrument separation is crisp and precise. The bass has great impact without overpowering the mids, and the highs offer plenty of detail without any fatigue. On top of that, I have small ears and finding a comfortable fit can be tough, but these fit perfectly, stay comfortable for long sessions, and isolate noise very well. Worth every penny!

Amazing IEMs
These IEMs are a must buy. It’s been about 2 months of non stop use and I have to say I am extremely impressed. The sound is so nice, clear and neutral with a slight bass boost that will make any genre of music sound so crisp. I love the design and they are so so comfortable for hours on end. I had two other sets before getting the AFUL Performer 5+2 and I gotta say I don’t use my other sets anymore and already sold one pair…. that’s how good these are. If your looking for neutral rich with slight bass boost tonality your in for a good time. Also love using these for competitive and casual gaming.
