It's really pretty and does the job
I bought this covering because I was sick and tired of always readjusting my tablecloth and plastic. My sister jokingly said one day "we have screen protectors for our phones, why not have one for glass tables? so I went on Amazon and did some searching. I came across this protector and really liked the design. I took a chance and bought it.When the order was delivered the box was damaged, it was sort of falling apart but the item itself seemed okay. It is pretty heavy so it took two of us to bring it inside and unroll it. It took some force to unroll it because it's so thick. We placed it on the table and tried smoothing it out to the best of our ability. The edges were still curled but after a day or two, it is laying completely flat. It sticks really nicely to the glass so it doesn't' shift around which is good for me. It cleans really well also, which is a good bonus to me. The surface is smooth so I can just spray some all-purpose cleaner and wipe down the surface and it's sparkly again. The flower pattern is really pretty, it blends in really well to the covering and also the table. It looks as if we got our glass table etched with the pattern.Let me tell you when I placed this on the table, it completely transformed the area. It felt brighter and airier, compared to when we were using a white table cloth and then a clear plastic table covering over that. We've had some people come over and admire the table, some even asked if we got a new table. There are some cons to it which are mainly cosmetic. We have some tiny holes in one spot, sort of like it was punctured by a screw or nail along with a bunch of surface-level scratches. It is only in two or three spots and they are really tiny. It wasn't worth the hassle of packing it up and sending it back for a new one so we just rotated the covering so that the holes were to the side that no one sits at so it wasn't noticeable. Prior to buying, we measured our table to double check but it still doesn't fit edge to edge. There is some overhang on one of the edges so we just lined it up and then had the overhang on the side where no one would notice it.Overall, it was a nice purchase that I am happy with.

Beautiful but Stains, never truly flattens but I would buy it again
I've hung this over the deck rail in 100+ temperature and it is still rumpled. Maybe a heat gun would do it???? I bought 36 x 60 inch. It is about a 1/2 inch too long. Maybe so you may trim to fit rounded corners I guess but my table is exactly 36x60 rectangle. The design is actually really beautiful but is textured and you have to use a brush to completely clean spills. It stains very easy so be very vigilant during cleanup. My table is very dark and my grandaughter spilled her buffalo sauce the first night. I didn't see it because of the center piece and it sat there until morning. I have tried everything from bleach and baking soda to hairspay and I cannot get the orange stain out. I am looking for a thick piece of clear hard plastic to cover it in a effort to hold it down and protect it because I like the way it looks so much. It stick to my wooden table just enough that it doesn't like. I taken if off after two weeks and do not fear it will damage the wood. I'm not sorry I bought it, just disappointed I messed it up and that I have the added expense of buying plexiglass to protect and flatten it.

I give up...I can't get it to lay flat
I have a new 48" round table that I want to protect. I thought this product would be a good solution. It arrived rolled up and very bumpy so I came on Amazon to see if anyone suggested how to flatten it. I proceeded to try all the methods listed on Amazon. First, I brought it into my Sun Room to let it lay in the sun. Then I tried using my hair dryer on it and laying it under heavy books for a few days. It got better but was still bumpy. So I then placed the cover on my table and covered it with every heavy book I own, and put heavy items on top (hand weights, kettle bells, etc) to weigh it down even more. My husband was even teasing me for taking every heavy item from every room in our house to attempt to flatten it. I had my heavy kitchen mixer, cast iron pans, anything I could think of. I then left the plastic under the books and all these heavy items for 2 weeks. The pictures posted in this review are the result after all these attempts. It got flatter but it doesn't look good on my nice table with the visible waves. And even after all these attempts, you can still feel the bumps. I really put more time and effort into trying to flatten this than I wanted. And now I'm getting close to the return date, and I give up. Maybe it would flatten in several months. But I can't take that chance because if I continue trying and it never flattens, then it will be too late to return. It's a shame really that the tight rolling for shipping most likely ruined this product. I don't write Amazon reviews often, but I would like to prevent others from spending the time and effort I did on this item.

Using on an island, size was as stated, working out well
When we bought our home it came with a lovely wood 54x34 island. However it was almost useless as an island due to the soft maple top, which gouged just putting a plate on it (why would someone make an island with soft wood?). I've had it covered with table cloths for 2 yrs til we can afford to put a quartz/silestone top on it and use the soft wood to make a coffee table or something. Anyway, I put a 54x36 geometric pad on it yesterday and so far we're liking the look. I spread it on top and used a hair dryer to help the wrinkles settle. Then I held it down with clear command strips, wrapping the extra 2" over the sitting area edge. It's not perfect but I especially like that the surface is not too slick so if I put a plate on it to cut something it's not sliding all over. Being disabled with a tremor this is helpful. I'd think this would work out well for kids too. I wish it came in white.
