Pebblz Kitchen Sink Protector Mat, 0.1" x 13.6" x 10.7" ,Graphite

Looks good but need to clean often.Would not buy again!Gave mine to Goodwill!

My husband had never seen a sink protector before! I love the pebble design, makes the sink look very cool just sitting there being a sink.

I am moving after 6 years with these and got a new sink. Getting these mats AGAIN! Wonderous! These have been in the dishwasher MANY times (flatten back with boiling water), scoured, abused and they have SAVED my sink!!! It looks new still! Granted these stain with some foods but just give them a scrub and a bleach and back to NEW! Like magic. So impressed!

This is the 3rd time I have purchased this sink mat. I love the look of it and it offers good protection from scratches on my sink. My only complaint is that they tend to get stiff over time. They start out nice and flexible but after about a year or so, they become very stiff and I usually replace them. I really could continue to use them when they stiffen but I prefer it when they are pliable. I did make the mistake of putting my last one in the dishwasher which made it stiffer and unable to lie flat. Overall, though, the price makes it affordable enough to replace from time to time. I do like the pebble design because you can cut it to fit your particular sink.

Let me start with the fact that I have always used a Rubbermaid sink mat that did not sit directly on the sink bottom. However, at our new house, the drain is off center and I had to find something that would work (I like having direct access to the drain without picking up the mat). I cut out the "pebbles" and the graphite colored mat looks great in the sink and compliments my granite counter tops. Lately though I have noticed rust spots coming out in my brand new stainless steel sink. This is not a cheap sink. I don't know whether it is coming from the mat as it does keep water between the pebbles, or quite truthfully our water has a lot of iron in it so it could be that causing the rust as well. So now I hang the mat on the faucet so it doesn't sit in the sink. Not happy to have to do that. I may have to find the type of mat that has little "feet" so it does not sit directly on the bottom of the sink.

I ordered this mat for our kitchen sink. Tired or the usual, boring, plain white rubber sink mats, we decided it was time for something different. This mat's unusual design and attractive color really add a nice, finished element to the sink. The hole for the drain can be cut to match your sink. Other reviews have remarked on the order, but we have not noticed any unusual smells (though our 6 year old daughter thinks it smells like peppermint for some reason). The design of this mat could cause food particles to become stuck in between the "pebbles," but this should be easily solved with a quick run through the dishwasher. Overall, this mat contrasts nicely and really sets off the sink's stainless steel finish.The only problem I had with this purchase is not with the item itself, but with the listing. Apparently, the mat comes in two sizes - small and large - and I ordered the smaller one. If you decide to try this for yourself, know that item #60063 is the small mat (approximately 10" x 12") and item #60663 is the large one (approximately 12" x 15.5"). Otherwise, so far, very nice sink mat.

These are much darker than the picture, which bothered me at first when I received it. But I liked it enough that I got a second one for my side sink. They get slimy underneath if you don't rinse it out well a few times a day, but for the work it saves me from scouring, it's well worth it in my opinion (although a coating with Microban should fix that). I'm down to scouring every few weeks, and I never have to worry about an item slipping and breaking or scratching the sink now. When I run the garbage disposal, I just position it to cover the opening, so I no longer have to hunt for the disposal cover first. I cut a hole in it to match where the drain in my sink is, it was very easy and looks fine. The gray goes really well with the gray accent on the Tovolo sink strainers, so I mind the dark color less now I have one of those also.

We will continue to buy this as it's really great, but it can discolor slightly if extremely hot water runs on it for an extended period.

I had this attached to side of my sink for just under a month. I can say the suction cups and fittings held up fine. My particular one cracked and split in two though. Not much more to say for what amounts to a novelty item. Haven't bothered to replace it.
