Baltic Standard Fastening Pet Buoyancy Aid with Strap

Border terrier loved it and happily wore it every day for a week, a miracle in itself as he hates his harness and always objects to putting it on. This aid was very easy to fit. I cannot guarantee its buoyancy as the dog never fell overboard so we still do not know if he can swim!! He jumped on and off the narrow-boat many times throughout our holiday, lay down, rolled, ran, and the jacket stayed in place. I had to lift him by the strap/handle a few times to quickly chuck him on board before the boat escaped and the strapping/jacket withstood his 12 kilos of weight. The colour helped tremendously as my peripheral vision could easily track him down when needed. In the hot weather I was pleased he had an exposed belly, not bound with neoprene or other material.

The strong clip fasteners (no velcro on this lifejacket) make it easy to put on .well made with reflective strip and retrieval hoop.I have been using these for many years,the dogs find them comfortable to wear all day.very visible day and night(by torchlight)all you need in a pet life jacket.For me the key fature of a jacket is that it allows the dog to be retrieved easily using a boat hook, for which this jacket is second to none- see how the loop stands up

Well, it fitted well, dog hated it, he hated the narrow boat, he hated the water, most of all he hated the man who helped us at the lock, the dog never did fall in, he was never that thick of course, hes a dog who hates water. why would he fall in?owners are idiots hes decided, so when the idiot owner was being helped by the "dodgy man at the lock" (dogs opinion) he ate the boat door to get out to save her, and cost her £200, the cost of putting said dog in the kennels in the first place, where he'd have loved it. no water and no weird coat they made him wear on the boat and no boat.. Lesson? : Next time kennel the dog.comfort? i made an assumption as it did not fit me, and light weight? yes. until you put a spaniel in it wet, it is. if you really need one, its a no brainer. good value, good quality.

Bought this as we were taking our 6 month old Labrador to the Norfolk Broads. Sure enough, within minutes of fitting it she had leapt straight in off the edge. She sank but the jacket bought her back up again. There was no river bank as it was all boarded for moorings so she couldn't get out. The handle on the top was a brilliant addition as it meant she could be lifted easily out. I recommend it.

Seems to be a well made produce - yet to see it in water! However SIZING......The large size says 15-40 kg.....my staf lab cross weighs 34kg and the large was too short and also the chest strap was far too tight and so had to change it. I guess if your dog is thisk set and broad you will need to go up a size - for my dog the X large fitted fine.

Fits our Jack Russell nicely and he seems quite happy in it. Straps need to be fairly tight to prevent him slipping out when lifted by the handle. There does not appear to be that much floatant in the jacket as it's fairly thin but I accept it's not a "life-jacket" and I'm not throwing him into the water to test it! I'm sure he'll float long enough to fish him out.

Just used this every single day for 3 weeks on a boat in the ocean. The dog wasn't fussed by it and the handle meant I could scoop her out easily and comfortably for her when I needed her back on board. It dried well and didn't smell. She's a cockerpoo, and I bought a medium. Really good product that made me feel she was safe to have a paddle off the back of a boat. She's a very strong swimmer, but I didn't want to ever risk it. She's also brown. So if she came off accidentally we could see the orange floor in the water easily. Super important.

Proved to be excellent value when my dog fell in the canal vanished under the water then bobbed back up i was able to lift her out with the strap on her back. Very pleased

Porto spesso il cane al fiume, al lago, al mare, molti chiedono perchè indossa il giubbottino e se non sa nuotare, poi lo vedono in acqua e capiscono che il cane è perfettamente a suo agio e non è un salvagente per lui ma una SICUREZZA in più per chi sta intorno. Il giubbottino infatti svolge a mio avviso due funzioni importantissime, la prima, è di un colore vivace e che non da margini a dubbi, il cane si vede e rimane a vista, sia del padrone e sia di chi ci sta intorno. In secondo luogo, la maniglia che ha sulla schiena è di una comodità unica, soprattutto se andate al fiume, avrete sempre un comodo appiglio per tenere il vostro cane e sollevarlo o fermarlo o aiutarlo a salire magari una roccia o una parete per lui difficile e scivolosa. Come taglia, ho un rottweiler di circa 40kg e ho preso la misura consigliata per il peso, avendo anche la possibilità di regolare con apposite cinghie il tutto, non avrete problemi a fare indossare correttamente il giubbottino. Molto consigliato.

Il prodotto è esattamente come si vede in foto. Le misure sono un po' piccine perciò ho preso una taglia in più (il mio cane pesa 33 kg circa e gli ho preso la taglia per un 40kg ma credo dipenda anche dalla razza e dalla linea del cane). è facilmente regolabile ed è ben cucito e senza difetti di fabbrica. si è presentato bene nel pacco con una busta ben sigillata che si può tranquillamente riutilizzare per riporlo. allego le foto del mio Ares, amstaff di 33kg

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Schwimmweste für unseren 38kg schweren Rottweiler-Mischling, der aus gesundheitlichen Gründen schwimmen geht, allerdings sehr unsicher im Wasser ist. Seine Chiropraktikerin empfahl uns daraufhin eine Schwimmweste, da diese dem Hund Sicherheit gibt und gleichzeitig die Wirbelsäule entlastet. Uns wurde dort bereits Baltic empfohlen, wir haben uns aber dennoch vorher umgeschaut, was es sonst so gibt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zeigte aber sehr schnell, dass man für eine simple Hundeweste von anderen Herstellern wesentlich mehr bezahlt! Da uns diese Schwimmweste eh empfohlen wurde, bestellten wir eine Größe L.Negativ:Die Weste ist leider etwas kurz, da unser Hund aber sehr lang für sein Gewicht ist und sein Rücken trotzdem komplett an der Wasseroberfläche ist, haben wir uns gegen einen Umtausch in eine andere Größe entschlossen.Des Weiteren würde ich leicht gepolsterte Gurte bevorzugen.Positiv:Die Weste ist leicht zu handhaben und wurde vom Hund direkt gut angenommen. Außerdem erfüllt sie ihren Zweck für uns optimal; Er ist unmittelbar nach der ersten Runde im Wasser sicherer geworden und sein Rücken schwimmt nun komplett in einer Linie. Unser Hund geht nur 2x die Woche maximal 15 - 20 Minuten Schwimmen in seichtem Gewässer, daher wurde uns ein Modell ohne "Brustweste" empfohlen, damit die Muskulatur gut arbeiten kann und nicht eingeengt wird. Dies ist bei diesem Modell sehr gut gegeben. Die Weste lässt sich leicht mit einem Lappen und Wasser reinigen und trocknet schnell, das Eigengewicht ist minimal.Wir sind sehr zufrieden und würden die Weste für Mensch & Hund Teams mit ähnlichen Anforderungen weiter empfehlen!

usato per tutta l'estate con una media di 3 volte a settimana il giubotto si e rivelato davvero resistente non me lo aspettavo calcolando anche che avendo un labrador che si tuffa da scogliere e si rotola ovunque il giubotto sarebbe dovuto esplodere dopo 4 utilizzi..lo consiglio vivamente per questo prezzo ne vale davvero la pena io ho preso l' XL ed il mio cane pesa 31kg ed e leggermente grande ma con le cinghie si puo regolare ma credo che la L sarebbe risultata piccola.

Bene ma non benissimo. Ho preso il giubbottino per il mio golden retriever di 2 anni che ancora non nuota, il giubbottino si allaccia bene ed è pratico. Una volta presa la misura ho tagliato l'avanzo dei lacci in eccesso perchè penzolavano dando fastidio.Non mi dà l'impressione di fare la differenza nel sorreggere il cane mentre nuota. Per 32 kg di cane l'imbottitura mi a sembra poca.P.S. il mio cane ancora non nuota :)

Ordinata la M per un cane meticcio da 12 kg.. Non le va! Anzi va a malapena ad un piccolo Jack Russell. E mi tocca pure pagare 5 euro per restituirlo?! Lo cambierò con una L.. Ma le misure sul sito sono errate secondo la mia esperienza

Il mio cane lo adora, quando lo prendo, già sa che si andrà a divertire e se lo fa mettere subito. Perfetto per sostenere la nuotata nei momenti di stanchezza. L’ho preso perché dopo un po’ il mio cane, un bull terrier, si stanca molto, essendo esplosiva ed euforica in acqua, e adorando i tuffi. Imateriai sono buoni, anche se per il prezzo mi aspettavo qualcosa in più. Consigliato!

Ottimo prodotto, leggero e resistente.Per il mio bassotto acquistata taglia M.Per l'acquisto mi sono regolata in base alle indicazioni del peso e considerando che il mio bassotto sia fuori taglia con un torace importante, peso del cane 11 Kg e lunghezza dalla base del collo all'attaccatura della coda 55 cm.Di primo acchito il salvagente mi era sembrato corto invece poi indossato dal cane è giusto, gli permette di muoversi e fa il suo lavoro in barca.Soddisfatta.

la taglia xl va benissimo al mio golden retriver di 35 kg , per niente ingombrante , utile ,ha aiutato il mio cane che ha problemi di salute a fare nuotate senza stress anche nel mezzo del mare, l'ho acquistato dovendo portare il cane in barca e sono soddisfatta del prodotto e qualita' prezzo per l'utilizzo che ne devo fare io per soli 15 giorni.non e' paragonabile a prodotti professionali .

Da wir eine ältere Hündin haben, die sehr gern schwimmt, haben wir uns auf Empfehlung die Schwimmweste von Baltic geholt. Man muss dazu sagen, dass unsere Hündin bei freiem Schwimmen über den ganzen See schwimmt und vor Freude ihre Kräfte nicht richtig einschätzen kann. Aus diesem Grund die Weste. Sie passt für einen größeren Hund (Golden Retriever, ca. 29,5 kg) perfekt und unsere Hündin hat auch kein Problem die Weste zu tragen. Zwar ist sie damit der Hingucker am Hundestrand, aber wenn sie damit unbeschwert und sicher schwimmen kann, soviel sie will, ist das die Hauptsache.

Ho una femmina di quasi tre anni metà Terranova e metà golden, da cucciola lei non nuotava, saltava in acqua come un delfino. Da quando ho preso il giubbotto ha imparato a nuotare.Acquisto perfetto!!!

Ho comprato questo salvagente questa estate per il mio bulldog di 30kg e sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto. Il salvagente lo sorregge bene in acqua ed ha nuotato per la prima volta in 6 anni. Spedizione puntuale.

Ringrazio per la gentilezza del venditore nel cambiarmi la taglia (da S a M). Il mio bassotto nano è molto lungo! La M è perfetta. Abbiamo accorciato le fasce che stringono il torace. Ora, anche Nerone potrà fare il bagno senza forzare la schiena (operato di ernia che l’aveva quasi paralizzato). Terapia e divertimento!

Giubbotto di salvataggio per cani : il mio jack è sempre in barca con noi e lo trovo ottimo quale prevenzione , anche in acqua, dato che non è un gran nuotatore è di grande aiuto

Ottimo prodotto. Lo consiglio. È leggero e non dà fastidio al cane anche sotto il sole con l'accortezza di bagnare il dorso prima di metterlo quando fa molto caldo. La maniglia è utilissima per tirare il cane in barca senza fatica e senza farsi graffiare. Le stringhe sulla pancia sono molto larghe e quindi non danno fastidio anche quando si solleva con la maniglia.
