The best gift for myself.
Daughter practices day or night without disturbing the household or neighbours. Highly recommend.

Excellent sound deadening at the cost of the upper register
The product is made of hard plastic and is very light. It does not affect the balance of the trumpet. Sound reduction is very effective and reduced to a whisper. You could practice with a sleeping baby in the room and not wake it! It does require more pressure to blow however. The lower and middle registers are ok but up above the staff notes get increasingly difficult very quickly. I’m an intermediate player, happy with the purchase but have not compared it to anything else

Quick and easy practice mute.
Very fast to use even in a rehearsal to practise a phrase without the other band hearing, easier to use at home than setting up yamaha silent brass mute.

Great mute - very good for late night practice
I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend, well worth it. It is very quiet and still allows a reasonable amount of air flow through the horn.

Quieter than expected
I wasn't sure if the mute would be quiet enough for my use but I was pleasantly surprised. It really dampens the sound considerably. I doubt that you would be heard in any other room then the one you are practising in. The only slight downside that you sometimes have to watch about the mute falling out of the instrument when you are bowing down. Its alright though, I would still buy it again.

No more worrying about disturbing the neighbours!
Living in a terraced house, our son was 'banished' to his room to learn to play the trumpet. My husband searched about mutes and came to the conclusion this was the best one. It was received the following day, quicker than expected, and now our son can happily play quietly in the lounge. :-)

Very quiet
Very quiet— can not hear it in the next room. Some back pressure and very low and very high notes are not in tune but about the best practice mute you will find

A noticeable difference
I have been using Deni Wick practice mute for years and found eventually that the back pressure was too much. I changed to the Bremmer practice mute and found there was not only less back pressure, but it was quieter, and intonation was better too.
