Hi :) Inspired by the legendary/mythical tales of Merlin the wizard :) Any hard core fan would LOVE to wear this piece! Great idea for a birthday or upcoming Christmas :) Inside the bottle is a hand sculpted, highly detailed and intricate Excalibur sword, you can even see the knots around the handle of the sword :) Those of you who may not be too familiar with the story behind this store (based on the tv show anyway) this is the sword that the dragon forged for Prince Arthur to help him defeat the dark knight. It has the power to slay the undead. But after ending up in the wrong hands the dragon told Merlin to hide the sword somewhere that no man could ever find again ( for fear that it would bring on evil). So Merlin went and threw it in the lake. So this is my miniature rendition of the lake in a bottle :) I've included some beach sand and seaweeds along with the gorgeous looking Excalibur sword. Everything is permanently sealed up with cork and sealant. On the outside of the bottle is what brings this whole piece together. On a burnt piece of paper are the words: "Take me up Cast me away" This is what was inscribed/forged into the sword by the dragon :) I sealed up the words so they will not fade over time. The pendant hangs from a 18'' cable style, silver plated chain with a spring ring closure. This item will come in a gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
