Pricey but worth it
Has the quality you’d expect being from fieldpiece. This actually grabs and holds onto the Schrader valve when removing from a pressurized system, and the sight glass makes it so easy to confirm you’re pulling the valve. It’s heavy duty and can take a beating. I tried six other valve removal tools before this one and it’s way better by far compared to any of the cheaper models out there. If you do a lot of hvac work, buy this, and save yourself the otherwise annoying task of removing the Schrader valve

Best available and worth the price.
There is no better core removal tool. It’s simply perfect in every way. The ability to isolate the micron gauge without additional parts or losing vacuum at all is so great. Can’t say enough. I have 2 of them.

Don’t buy terrible item
I didn’t believe all the one star reviews but I should have. Bought this and was so excited to use it! First time using it I couldn’t pull the valve out with pressure or without pressure in the system. At first I thought it was something I was doing wrong but no matter what I did it wouldn’t grab the core out and allow me to change it. Love field piece products but this missed the mark for them. Co worker has a navac one that was beyond easy to grab and remove the valve. Thought I would get the top of line one with a cool sight glass but it was terrible and wasted a good hour fighting with the tool to get it to work right.

The Fieldpiece BC2G is a solid tool
I love it! It is from a reputable company. It is a robust VCR tool. I seriously doubt (there is none) there’s a Valve Core Removal tool out there that will meet and exceed what technicians come to expect from a VCR tool.

This is a great HVAC tool for your toolbag- Quality!
I did tons of research on different HVAC valve tools and knockoffs. This one has the eye site and is quality. The value is worth it for the money. Quality all the way. Don't go for the cheap knock-offs. Functions ans needed and easy to use. No leakage. Great product! Thank you.

Great tool, 2 important features, but needs to come with both heads.
This valve core removal tool is very well made, with 2 important features that most of them don’t have. First, it has 2 valves. Most of the time when you’re using this tool, you’ll have either a vac pump or a tank connected, and some type of gauge. The nice thing about 2 valves is that if you need to remove the gauge for some reason, you can do so without compromising the entire line. With some of those other branded ones that only have a single valve, the second port may also leak, so having that second valve to ensure the port is sealed is helpful, the second feature is the window. This really helps to let you see that you have captured the valve core, and you can inspect it for damage without actually pulling it out. Fieldpiece is a leader in refrigeration service tools, and this piece is a key component in any service tech’s bag, I’d give it 5 stars if it came with the both the 1/4 and 5/16 heads. Seems really cheap that you have to spend ANOTHER fourty bucks on it.
