Bling Cat Collar Adjustable Breakaway Pet Collar with Bells

I researched a LOT and finally ordered a different collar with bling for my medium sized Lilac Point Siamese cat. It arrived and overwhelmed his delicate neck and I could see how the stones could drop off and look gaudy. I returned it, used a correct size chart and feel this shiny fabric looks much more natural and flexible. It is easy on his neck, the weight makes it hang properly, the little bell is a nice touch and he tolerates it very well.

I was super happy with this collar - it's gorgeous and didn't seem to be irritating my kitty at all - until I noticed that the red color was coming off all over her fur! It's actually a lot worse than it looks in the photos; her entire white patch looks completely pink right now. I'm assuming this would eventually stop happening, but I'm not sure I feel comfortable keeping it on her until then...I may try to soak it in water to see if I can get the "bleeding" to stop

This is the 2nd time I ordered this cat collar from this seller. I was pleased with how pretty & sparkly it is; the little attached bell rings clearly, and the break-away feature for safety is firm & stays on but when pulled hard will fall off. There are little "ears" on the cat face that comprises the clasp - that are a bit sharp in my opinion. I had to file them down... but all in all the collar is ok. When I needed another cat collar, of course - I bought it again. I left 3 stars because as much as I liked it... the 2nd purchase never arrived in the mail.

Our cat is gigantic and has HUGE feet that he loves to scratch with, so we go through collars a lot. This one unraveled a lot at first so we were concerned, but we cut the loose strings off and after a week or so it stopped happening. Since then, it's held up really well. And the emergency release worked great when he tried to chase one of our other cats under the bed and got caught (as I said, he's gigantic). The silver looks good against his black fur, as well. I was going to post a picture, but it's kinda hard to get one because he's got a LOT of fur, so the collar is really only visible from a few angles.

It was cute, but Kitty kept scratching and pawing at it. Since it appeared to be uncomfortable for her, I returned it. Ended up getting the "Ultra Soft Real Lamb Leather Glass White Pearl Studded Cat Collar...." - one in Gold, one in Red.

cute collar. I thought the sparkling brown-gold glitter would look awesome on my Bengal. It did. For about 2 hours. I have no idea where the collar is. The second collar went on a rescue youngster (8 months). I heard him tinker-belling around all afternoon and into the night. When I got up to make coffee I found it on the floor. "Breakaway" is good if your cat gets hung up somewhere; if an 8 month old juvenile kitty can dump it? Not so good.
