We have been using mud meds for over 20 years they avoid the feeling of what’s in the bag, there is no danger of leakage, no odor. Although they are more expensive than used grocery bags, they are much more pleasant to use.

One of my real pet peaves is poop bags that are burdensome to open, kinda like the plastic vegetable sacks at the grocery store. When you need to get the bag open quickly and without extra effort, these are the bags for you. Really fell for these this summer when we were at a marina in Washington that provided these bags for the dog lovers. Most bags are difficult to open because the plastic is slippery and the top is hard to open. Not these bags, the two sides sealed at the top are slightly uneven so that the seam is easy open. In the past I have not wanted to pay for poop bags but rather use them free where they are provided, but these bags are so easy to use I have decided to pay for these from now on. Well worth it. About 100 bags for about eighteen dollars.

The best bags I have ever found, but they are no longer listed as bio-degradable or compostable. I still buy them, but only use them when my dog has loose stool.

I first saw these when my sister gave me one to try - I thought they were an overpriced luxury. Who needs an extra layer of plastic just so you don't get poop on your hands lol? But they really are nice bags. They don't tear and they are thick enough so you really don't need the extra mitt feature to keep your hands clean. I guess if you are that skittish about getting poop on your hands...hehehehe. My favorite feature, and why they are getting 5 stars, is they are larger than most bags. I have two dogs and many times when I walk them I get a "two-fer" - you know what I mean. Yes, they hold double the poo. So if you don't mind paying extra for a nice sturdy bag, this fits the bill.

Not sure why the company would change a quality product I have relied on for years to this thin delicate plastic. The originals did biodegrade just fine. What is the excuse?Update: the former bags I have are splitting at the seams… is this why they changed the product? After searching for a new brand, the new ones are still better than what I have found. Yes, easy to open.
